I swear this spell is one of the biggest offenders of every kit he's had over the years. Point and click CC. You've gotten rid of this mechanic on like, every single reworked champion that's had one. Why does Ryze get to keep his?

When Riot started removing targeted CCs like Sion's old Stun, and when they said they'd most likely remove Taric's old one, there was a tremendous outcry against Riot from removing targeted CC, citing that "we absolutely need it to combat mobility creep" and "you can easily balance targeted CCs".
It almost makes you have to empathize with Riot in that no matter how they do things, there will be backlash, whether they did the right thing or not.
