Just watch. Unless you do the obvious thing and itemize just for him he won't EVER die.

I fear for the players who always build the same thing over and over again without adapting to the situation. :(

Mundo is OK and really good vs bad players since his melee range damage is very high. However, in higher ELO he gets abused early and kited more. His winrate falls off really hard. Check lolalytics for example. In Diamond+ Top is 48% and JG 46% while for Plat+ (which is basically all Plat games), he's at 49% winrate. The higher you go, the worse Mundo becomes.

I've had to resort to telling people that it deals almost half of his ultimate's healing as true damage to him to make them buy it.

Mundo is absolute dogshit against AD comps which is the meta right now. Plus summoner 14 item 3123 exist

Who in low elo have you seen ever build item 3123 when laning against someone with a bunch of healing? I've only seen one or two. And that's after I told them to build it.

You dont build it in lane. You dont need it. Mundo is pathetically weak early, especially when he has to rush item 3068 over item 3065
