Is riot making a turn into tanks?!?

Ok so i have been playing alot lately and i have noticed a huge turn into tanks, people play more and more tanks, i face teams with 3 tanks and most times extremely hard to beat, you would think that their dmg would be waaaay less but its actually very high considering that they are tanks. Think about it : sup(leona, braum, blitz are all overused), jungle(vi,ww,jarvan,malphite,rammus), not to mention too lane, i thing tanks do too much dmg and they can keep up with the dmg of fighters, therefore i think that tank dmg must somehow be nerfed, like i was killed by a braum using graves, i was currently on rampage and a little fed, but braum just destroyed me in a 1 v 1 lol...
