I know the possibility of Riven buffs is on the Horizon but

Could they come out faster? This meta compounded with her constant direct and indirect nerfs is ridiculous

The entire enemy team I was just against basically unanimously agreed that nowadays playing Riven is just asking to lose.

Tank Ekko too fun to play against :^)

I would gladly see her buffed if they removed animation canceling. Sure it adds skill to her, but it also makes her harder to balance. Bad/mediocre Riven players end up with a champion that is somewhat weak, where as good Riven players end up with a champion that has to be the focus of her buffs/nerfs to avoid her being too strong.

Having a skill gap is good, but not when that skill is directly related to the usability of a champion. Unless off-tank Riven makes a comeback I don't see animation canceling as anything but holding her back.

She'd need huge huge buffs if they removed her anim canceling. That WOULD make riven a very powerful off tank.

She'd lose her identity as a skillful combo based fighter though

Right now the only issue I have with her is that she's high risk low reward when she should be high risk high reward :/

Not necessarily. She can have combos and skill without animation canceling. I admit it would be a huge effort to pull it off, but if they could do that it would make me happy.

Animation canceling is rather recent in the grand scheme of things, after all. She had that identity before it came around.
