Why wasn't kassadins silence just moved to his w?
Would it still have been too strong even if he had to get in melee range with people and slap them with it?

I think it's because of how quickly he could get to you.
But I have wondered the same thing.
Because the idea of allowing an assassin type champion to remove the target's ability to counter any of their damage or use their own defensive/escape abilities is dumb. Same reason why silence was removed off of Talon and Leblanc and only kept on Cho and Garen.
Idk i dont think i like it on garen either. His q does a fair amount of damage and the silence blocks anything other than autos so it kinda annoys me
Isn't he a weird bruiser thing now? Wouldn't it make more sense to put it on his E?
