It looks like his kit features lots of interrupting style crowd control effects, which would make me lean into a soft yes? Hopefully so!

from the looks of it hes going to be tanky top, maybe support, and most likely jungle. it all depends on his base stats. if he gets any form of scaling hes going to be broken thanks to his tons of CC.

no champion with this much CC should have wave clear or damage, but if he does its going to be bonkers.

champs that dont deal damage are forced to top afk farm tp bot, group mid/late game and peel for team. or forced jungle and have a slower than average clear speed and will have very little impact on the game outside of large team fights.

put it this way, where would you put a zac. thats basically the most similar champ in relation to new galio out there.

in order to qualify as support he needs 2 things, lowish cooldowns and hard engage off flash CD. if he has those things he could be seen in the support role.

but from pure speculation his CD's offer too much CC to justify short cooldowns.

I am of the opinion that Zac is a poor support best-case scenario. I guess it really depends on if they give him a 'poking' tool - could wind up being a GREAT answer to the mage-heavy bot lane though.
