PSA: You can still troll in champ select, not get punished and Riot has done jack shit to fix it

Just had to dodge yet another game because some 12 year old got mad that his "ADC" role was taken from him when he was 4th pick. He proceeds to instalock an ADC and go bot anyway. Can we PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD have a vote to kick option in champ select? I mean.. the grind already is fucking terrible and with the added bonus of dealing with asswipes who know that they can troll and continue to troll because no consequences will ever come. This has been a problem for SEASONS and Riot has still done nothing about it.

"buutt what if it's abused?" Its not going to be fucking abused. I have faith that the majority of the people that play this game aren't total trolling dickheads and will uphold the summoner code. This needs to be addressed right now. I can't tell you how many league points I'v lost from having to dodge a game because of players that troll during champ select. It's unfair for me, it's unfair for the 3 other players in the lobby and it's downright infuriating to say the least.

That is why riot should not implement a kick option. They should implement a disband option though with a set number of disbands you're allotted per day. Like say 3 tickets. You need at least 3 people in order to disband, (that way troll duos do not run amok in ranked) but if you use 3 of your tickets then you either have to rely on 3 of your teammates to use one of theirs OR you have to dodge and lose the LP. I myself wouldn't like to be kicked from games because I do not play the same 5 LCS meta champs every game. I also wouldn't like waiting 5 minutes to get a game together just to have my team disband because they think the enemy comp is better.

while i would like to believe that the community would ban together to use this feature appropriately i cannot do so because frankly speaking the majority of the community would use it as a way to get rid of a player they didnt like regardless of whether they were trolling. sorry but it is human nature to abuse any power we are given. look at all the wars that have happened if you don't believe me.

Not everyone blindly abuses power, however the ones who don't are definitely in the minority.

Bullshit, its not human nature. Plenty of people have been given power of great importance and you know what? they took the power very seriously, Wars happen because mean are corrupted by greed, not by power. Although money grants power, it doesn't do it out right.

hardly, and most players get super annoyed that they have to dodge 5 minutes of gameplay or more just because the supercomputer on charter instant typed ADC into the chat

btw, riot DID fix this. it's called the team builder and I believe it's available at level 10...I started playing pubs again because a lot of the people in team builder are super snooty and it's boring as anything when the teams work so well together that it's just AA, click, AA, click, AA, click, finally someone got a kill at 8 minutes in, then proceeds to snowball with the gold advantage and no counterplay because the teams can support each other.

I like to think of myself as a competitive player (even though I don't have a proper connection or any hopes of entering something like LCS with a team XD) , but I do not like to think of myself as just click click click until one side can't handle the other.

I still enjoy team builder, but those moments you win with 3 ADCs bottom are so fun ^^ most of the balanced teams against you just surrender because they can't outsnowball the carries

EDIT: oh, you meant ranked, yeah, why doesn't riot make a team builder ranked?

Riot says everything can be "Abused" So I guess, the champ select will remain the same for the next 1000 years to come.

The current system is already being abused by the people who hold 4 other people hostage by threatening to troll, so I have a hard time seeing why riot would view another system being abused as worse than what we already have.

I highly doubt the system would be abused too often if they truly came up with a way to implement it. People holding the whole lobby hostage is just straight up NOT fun, and they can do it for free because there's nothing stopping them.
