Azir doesn't need damage on Q

Riot, there is no reason for Azirs Q to deal so much, if any, damage. Prior to his last nerfs, he was several types of mages.

  1. Poke
  2. Zone
  3. Dps
  4. Burst On top of that, he also offered.
  5. Peel
  6. Engage As well as having a safe laning phase.

You decided to do away with the knock up on his E, thereby removing engage (or at least safe/reliable engage), and moved his in built atk speed passive to W, and buffed it by making it flat without needing CDR, I assume to incentivise maxing W first..? Didn't really change much though, and for 1 reason: his Q. Still. Hurts.

In theory, if the damage on Q were removed/nerfed drastically, his poke disappears, and he no longer has burst damage. His laning phase is weaker, and he becomes more focused on his soldiers.

To be honest, the damage on Q makes it easier to just play Pokemon, and force someone out of a fight before it's started. And this on a champion built with the INTENTION OF HARD CARRYING LATE GAME TEAMFIGHTS.

Being fair to the Bird Man, doing this would be brutal, so he'd probably need a buff of some kind (coughlowcooldownQwithlessmanacosttomovesoldiersmoreoftencough), but that's moot point unless a change DOES happen

Azir is... not a burst mage. Annie is a burst mage. Veigar is a burst mage. LeBlanc is a burst mage (curse her soul). Azir can harass fairly well, but he won't be 100-0ing you any time soon. Azir already builds 40% CDR, since he needs the mobility from his Q and as many soldiers as possible. He also doesn't really have any kind of CC; he can peel with his wall, but that's about it.
