at what winrate would you say your main needs buffs?

generally people start freaking out when winrates go start to reach 53% or higher at what point would you start freaking out if your main champs had a low winrate?

48% 46% 45% 44%?

Edit 2: You people DO realize i am asking this in the form at what point would you say YOUR MAIN, needed a buff? And THAT is what you are voting for... Right?

EDIT: to clear some up some questions i have added the following:

Basically what is the lowest winrate you would allow for ANY reason

For example i would allow a winrate to drop to say 46% in bronze elo if their winrate was 52% in challenger (or vice versa or any combination of elos)

But to me a 45% winrate or would be completely unacceptable to be REGARDLESS of any other info, if any elo for any reason reaches 45% winrate, i say that champ needs a buff, and if that buff would make them op in a different elo, then they might need more tweaking to either: lower the higher winrate for a smaller winrate difference, or at least do a buff that wont make the winrate increase in the other elo where it was already high. But either way.. the champ still needs a buff.

depends on a host of other variables like elo, pickrate, and ban rate. It's like asking how much pounds does it take to be fat... You can't answer is correctly because it you need to know the height, age, gender..etc

This.

For example, Katarina (one of my three most-played champions) is currently sitting at a 43% winrate, yet I don't think she needs buffs urgently because of a number of factors (mostly, her rework being brand new, people not knowing how to play her yet, and lots of new players trying her out.)

come on people.. no one can see what you voted for... if you are that person who who thinks you main should never be allowed to drop below 48% no one will know you voted that way

if you are the person who has lost all pretense of sanity and thinks you don't need a buff at 40% you can vote for that. And no one will know it was you.

but either way plz vote, and if you would like to share you answer please do so,

btw i voted 46% because i feel that if any elo reached 46% it would still be acceptable IF the champ had a 49 -51% win rate in a different elo. but i felt that having a winrate of 45% or lower is un-acceptable for any elo regardless of what any other elo might be at

I agree Nidalee needs buffs

There is no winrate at which a champion deserves buffs regardless of any other factors.

ok so right now you play Kled and Amumu

you are saying that if Amumu suddenly dropped down to a 23% win rate in your elo during a patch cycle, that you would be fine with that?

Then it'd be a reason to look at what caused said drop. Not just immediately buffing Amumu.

.. the REASON it reached % percent does NOT matter, what matters is your main is now at % percent (in this made up scenario it was 23% in your elo)

are you saying there is ANY reason you can think of where you would not try to buff this champ?

again keeping in mind that the BUFF will be done PROPERLY which mean it will NOT break something else.

why do i even need to add this? obviously when i say "buff" the champ i don't mean stack on 500 base damage on a level 1 auto attack. obviously the goal is the make them BALANCED, not buff them to 98% win rate. i mean BUFF to what would be a 49-51% winrate or a balanced state.

seesh.

Dont respond seriously to him. Hes a bronze 4 kid who posts nothing but insults in everyones threads.

It depends on the reason he's at that winrate.

If Riot disables a champion for all players except the worst players of that champion, and that champion goes to a low winrate, that doesn't mean the champ is weak, that just means that only shitters are playing them

You're asking for a really simple answer to a very complex question, particularly when overall win rate isn't the sole barometer for a champion's health. 46% win rate probably indicates a champion needs to be looked at to evaluate the reasons behind the win rate, but it may not necessarily indicate a need for pure buffs. There are just too many variables to have one strict number that should trigger immediate buffs.
