Energy, fury, and no-resource

Energy refills far faster than mana with about the same use rate. Anyone with energy is also given abilities to refill it even faster. Why is it that allowing them to spam abilities against a mana-using enemy is seen as balanced? Ahri "F**k, out of mana." Zed "Alright, just five more seconds until I have all my energy back."

Fury, in every case, is not a cost to an ability. It's simply a buff to something. Why a champ is allowed a sudden boost on one attackRenekton , or a heal when he's just been invulnerableTryndamere , or a true damage attack on par with the ults of Cho and Darius RekSai and is considered fair is beyond me.

Lastly, no-resource champions. Yasuo Riven and Katarina being the biggest offenders. Yasuo can infinitly span his 2-second cooldown Q, Riven can Q and dash infinitely without once thinking "Oh no, I might run out of mana and get caught.", and KAT. Katarina, let's see: No costs, massive AOE damage, and cooldowns on her abilities that literally completely reset on kill. Seriously, her ultimate is the only ability that doesn't have a cooldown under the 15 seconds that they're reduced on kill or assist. Spam kills all day, with no mind to any cost whatsoever, or cooldowns.

Not going to comment on most of them, but there are a few I know of.

While energy users get mana back quickly while laning which allows them to regularly use abilities, they can run out of energy during drawn out engagements or teamfights. While mana confines ability use early, later in the game most mages have enough mana and mana regen that they won't run out of mana during drawn out engagements for significantly longer than energy users.

For Renekton, his abilities honestly aren't very threatening without fury. If you look, their base damage are significantly lower than similar abilities of the same rank and have a much higher cooldown when unempowered. In exchange for that sudden boost on one or two ability uses, his unempowered ability uses are much weaker. This is partially why Renekton makes quick trades when he has fury, so you have to know when to choose your engagements against him.

Katarina's normal abilities don't deal significant damage on their own and are better used for cleaning up fights than bursting people. She typically rushes DFG so that she can actually kill her opponent with her normal abilities without having them whittled extremely low first. Most of her damage is loaded into her ultimate and resets, however her ultimate is easily cancelled by CC (and if the enemy has a Katarina, at least one person on your team should be smart enough to save a CC for her or you have bigger issues).

Not even going to bother with the others, since I can't bring myself to put more effort towards a rage thread.

Implying it's a rage thread when I was only pointing something out. Defending three of the most broken assassins in the game.
