Why do ranged champs have 2.0 attack speed in urf?

While melees only have 1.5? I understand that yi may be part of the problem, but seriously there are far more ranged champions that are problematic, and of the melees that are problematic, their attacks are far from the reason they are so.

Do you know what class of champion tends to get the most free attack speed? That’s right, ad carries. On top of that crit damage bonus, many ranged ads are incredibly strong in urf.

Going back to yi, the truth is double attack speed vs 1.5 attack speed would make no difference, since he doesn’t stand around attacking. He Q aa Q aa Q aa’s.

On another note, why are all of the runes enabled but not lethal tempo? All the attack speed champs just go crit or ap now because they can’t play around the attack speed part of urf. What would be wrong with them getting to use lethal tempo, which takes so long to set in anyway? Conqueror is ok. Hail of blades is too. Arcane comet with how spammy it is is as well. But for some reason lethal tempo is the big problem?

I wanna see a quadruple zeal build and I want to see it now. Rito pls.

TL;DR: at the very least, melees and ranged champs should have the same attack speed bonus, if not melees having a great one (they’re melee for crying out loud, and adcs can 1-2 shot anyone with that crit and from range). In addition, lethal tempo should be in this gamemode. Considering how fast fights are over, being able to proc it should be rewarded, and with adc’s hopefully getting the urf nerf or equalizing they need, there would be no problem with this sort of change.

here's a video giving you some idea why lethal tempo was disabled in urf. https://streamable.com/3b3mf. basically once you start passing 5 attacks per second the games rules change drastically and your damage becomes so high that nothing can tank you. at that point its much stronger then spamming a spell every 1-2 seconds and takes far less skill and mechanic to win with. what'd happen is every team would have multiple high attack speed adcs and they would stick together like butter and kill anything instantly that appeared in their range. think of multiple spawn fountain lasers hunting you down. it'd be very hard to beat such a comp as they could space themselves apart. if even 1 of them were not killed immediately your team would auto-lose. it was not really that fun to face tbh. to put it into perspective even urf garen back when his spin was broken and at his prime could not handle lethal tempo abusers in urf. the only saving grace is that not many people knew about it or even bothered to do it. but the few who did more or less ruined urf matches for the rest leading to riot disabling it.

Because attack speed is a stat ranged champions usually are known to scale with.
