The build looks like this but not in this exact order item 3508 item 3031 item 3046 item 3072 item 3036 item 3006 then depending on the game either another attack speed crit item or item 3026 to replace boots

If you are playing a caster ADC where CDR/mana sustain matters like Sivir, Lucian, a crit build Ezreal, Miss Fortune, then Essence Reaver is really nice and usually a first item. It's a strong power spike in terms of damage (as it gives the three things caster ADC really want in AD, CDR and mana sustain). On auto attack based champs who really don't use too many abilities (Jinx, Twitch, Kalista, Vayne) Essence reaver isn't likely to be the optimal way to pad your damage and rather and IE or Bork into either PD, Shiv or Hurricane is likely the best way to go.

No wonder they die too quickly.

They dont seem to die with their 12% damage reduction and healing for 150+ health on their autos :(

That is definitely not good on every ADC and I have doubts as to the "good" part in the first place.
