It's ridiculously out of place on his kit being a short single target skill, while the rest of hit is longer range; so when you stun meteor + q you have to walk an additional ~300 units to get into your ult range which will 99% get you killed.

They already lowered its power though. And as for point and clicks, I think Leblanc's Q is longer than 650

Dark Matter feels like its range is too short because of the range buffs to E and Q... And it's still practically impossible to hit without Event Horizon's (unreliable) stun. If Riot does something to make his W useful without E's stun, I might actually pick up Veigar again.

Veigar isn't too bad at the moment, but he's not perfect.
He has quite a bit of issues:

youngjake931 votesPrimordial Burst is supposed to be Veigar's identity -_- The only reason it seems "too short ranged" is because they JUST A COUPLE WEEKS AGO buffed the range of the rest of his kit. Anyway, it still has enough power to one-shot AP carries, so you don't really need to combo it.

It's CLOSE to being able to one shot carries, I was a 1k ap veigar vs a xerath that had 700 ap with 30 mr
It didn't oneshot him
