Why we no longer can spectate higher elo matches at the client?

I hate to say it, but they weren't all high elo games; I think they can be as low as gold league.

If you wish to watch truly high elo games: 1: Go to your profile and click Leagues. 2: go to your league's page (Soraka's Chosen or whatever it may be called.) 3: Select the drop-down menu at the top and switch it to top tier players. 4: Scroll through the top tier players until you see one with an eye in their row. 5: Right-click that player, and click Spectate Game.

It's a little more complicated than the wedge spectating games used to have, and I still do prefer that, but this can work until they re-implement the wedge onto the main screen.

Seriously. I enjoyed watching some high elo games. It's a sort of equivalent to watching streams, for people who want to learn by watching people who are pretty good at the game play. And with the little ranked tab you could watch a game from the start, and through the finish. Why get rid of that? Sure you can just go to challenger rankings, and see if anyone's in a game, but then you don't get to watch from the start. I want the ranked tab back.

Because high elo players get everything, while low elo players are ignored. SAME EXPLOIT HAPPENS IN LOW ELO, but riot doesn't give a frack.

It's like when players ask for block to actually block trolls, but they respond with 'welp might be exploited in high elo' so 90% of the player base doesn't get a solution because 10% of the player base might be affected.

They used to have a button on the top right part of the bottom right box where you could switch between the advertising and the high elo games...so much frustration right now

maybe because this is the most unskilled season ever and you dont need to be good to improve . pick the meta , play the meta with premades , enjoy free elo .

So that you can click "watch now" when LCS starts.

I use to love watching ranked game high or low elo or those rare game when I saw names i've seen on youtube like pink ward or that one last main invertedcomposer win or lose use to watch him to the end. Then those short "That guy feed them to much and now its snowball city" or long "Its 55 mins in, 30 kills each and they still have yet to hit each other inhibitors" games that were fun at time to watch and then toxic all chat and afk/rage quit ones :-}. But then s6 happened and DynamicQ came out..... And the spectate window I use to at times log on to see when I couldn't play, was now filled with only ARAM and Normals(blind pick). Not many would want to spectate ARAM or normals(blind pick) so I bet riot made another call to remove that as well. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

I think it has to do with the new dynamic-queue or champselect or w/e Since they launched it we couldn't spectate Ranked-games normally like it used to be, only Blindpicks and Arams.

I made the observation that if you spectate a friend of yours who's ingame for less than 3 minutes, you'll get a buggy champselect-screen that is nothing but black. Therefore I believe Riot somehow forgot to program a new champselect for spectators for ranked-games and this somehow bugged the ability of the client to let us watch ranked-games normally, therefore they deactivated it.

because riot doesnt want to copy higher elo player tactics and try to be good with our own tactics
