So i was in game and i was playing rammus...the enemy ADC was a trist

I was having my W on and over 600 armor 3to something k HP and 200 to something MR

Guess what she was hitting me with 12% life steal from BTRK and she was taking no damage ether from my W or thornmail....

And we are gonna pretend that Thornmail is an good spot? because its simple useless...and that rammus is good vs ADC ? nope...he just become a malphite V2 that rather than having a knock up he have a taunt...Gj riot you kill the idenity of the champion and you kill an item...all that why? so ADCs can build lethality without even LIfe steal and dont give a damn abotu thornmail or anything else? good job...

Eh, full build ADCs win games. Tris is a late scaling hyper carry, who shreads tanks.

Why do you feel you should be able to walkover her? you taunt her and your adc/mid oneshots her.

Team game and all that.

..hmm what? since when tristana is able to free attack a rammus with just crit items? for 6 seasons now that wasent the case..(we won that game btw) but since when bcome normal an adc to be able to focus rammus with full build and thornmail?

That why this game become more and more joke..

She did have Lord Doms and Bork on top of her crit, so she was building anti tank.

you realize that even with the old L.W and BT and BTRK and CRIT you werent the right choise to focus a rammus..

Because back then Thornmail was dealing damage base on how much damagethey deal and his W was the same...

But riot gut them both so new age noob players can focus what ever without thinking about what they need to do...

Riot making the game more and more easy for bronze players

Probably for the best for the game as a whole, tanks (the low dmg, disruptor class) probably shouldn't be single handedly killing the late game DPS champion at full buuld

They shouldn't be killing them by just reflecting damage either.

There's a reason even sunfire's damage to champions was nerfed.

Thornmail works vs no lifesteal builds. I was a GP and there were Mundo, Zac and Singed on 1 team. Guess who was winning in 1 v 1. I was dying from thornmail and their abilities, but there werent't enough slots for lifesteal - I had maw instead.

Uhh...that's actually kinda a problem considering thornmail is meant to counter lifesteal now. Granted it's meant to counter in that it reduces healing so you don't become a healthpack for the enemy rather than kill them.

Let's say that thonrmail deals 60 dmg per auto, the ADC is probably healing for just as much, if they have the mastery with heal and ms = good luck damaging them with thornmail.

You're not supposed to damage them with thornmail late. You're supposed to just reduce their healing.

Thornmail has been a bad item since the game was created. We constantly called out for buffs for it. In season 5, it got buffed/nerfed/sidegraded depending on the situation (buff against full physical teams, sidegrade against mostly physical teams, nerf against low physical teams). Needless to say, it was still a bad item. Then we continued to ask for buffs for it, and it just got completely gutted. I, at least, am hesitant to ask for buffs for it again.

they just gut it now it dosent even have the whole "they take damage base of X number of the damage they deal to you" THEY JUST REMOVE THE PART THAT WAS MAKING THORNMAIL THE ITEM THAT WAS NORMALY DESIGNG FOR...and they make a randuim V2...this is just bad

What do you think thornmail purpose should be? If it's to negate lifesteal it does a pretty good job of that with grievous wounds, if it's to punish champions for clicking on you then I say that item probably should not have been in the game to begin with

you stacked HP vs a hyper carry late game adc whos has AS steriod, and bonus damage to a target with E on them who built BORK and armor pen and multiple crit items and cry that you should 1 vs 1 her?

with out knowing your runes/masteries it seems you had 4126 hp

so with out crit or armor pen any then else or your armor

one auto from trist with bork with you having 4126 hp would do 330 physical damage to you when at full hp

you roughly had 2189 more hp then she did giving her +2% per 100 hp you have over her from item 3034 passive of item 3036 up to 20% total bonus damage which based on the pure fact of hp you had over her was 2189 would give her the full 20% bonus damage as physical damage

and crit amplifiers would boost all physical damage when crit is applied plus boost her life steal cuz of the crit damage is physical damage so she would get 12% life steal on all physical damage ...

did you build correctly? YES , did she YES

but you as a full tank should not be able to 1 vs 1 the adc... you as a full tank should have a enough tank stats to sustain and soak damage while you peel,cc, taunt, engage the enemy while your team kills the adc
