Something is inherently wrong with champion balance

league used to be a game of u can pick w/e champion u love and main to get really good at them and climb pick a few champions u love master them and climb.

but for the past few years.. it hasn't been like that.

sure if u get good at a champion you can do a lot better.

but you can also pick the OP meta champ and barely know how to play them and climb WAY faster than u ever could do with your main which you're 50x better at.

and im not even talking about 1v5 champs or champs that are designed to solo carry when fed.

i am talking about champions that play their role normally but just because of the state of balance. no one can freaking touch them.

champion that may take X skill to play and hardcarry but that 5x that to stop. the fact that there are guides that say "you need to change to this meta OP champ to climb elo" how on earth does you reaching that elo remotely represent your skill? it doesn't.

all it does it prove that u can abuse the broken shit without u learning how to actually play.

Those who DO spend the time to learn how to play. don't climb as fast as people who abuse the broken shit.

that is just wrong on so many levels.

champion who re so strong they can drastically influence the game with next to no practice.

there are people who have climbed with their mains yes, im not staying it cant be done... im saying its slower and HARDER to do than if u just absurd the system and played the broken shit.

and most of the people we know about who do that can do that BECAUSE they HAVE the game knowledge.

But you still can do that, and what you said has always been a thing. You have always been able to take the OP meta champion to the top, or take the one you dedicate to the top as well, hence why there are Challenger Azir and Ryze players.

... i dont really think Ryze or Azir are good examples... azir's combos are incredibly mechanically intensive. and ryse is a champ that whej played properly can do a ton of shit.

its as if u picked Akali or Irelia

there the reason why are have so low winrates is because they are ABSURDLY strong in the right hands

if u do that with someone like Ivern . ots rally not going to have the same effect.

and i never said u couldnt climb with by getting better.. what i said is.. you can climb MUCH EASIER and WITHOUT getting better by picking the OP shit.. and that really isn't ok

But it has literally ALWAYS been like that, there hasn't been a time where it was an easier time to climb when said meta things were meta.

I literally win games in ranked with Amumu mid. Mind you, I only do this when someone on my team bans the champ I'm hovering...I do it to punish them but so far I'm 4-0 on Amumu mid.

The thing is...you can get away with just about anything. It's not as easy, but you can. #2, it's always gonna be harder to get away with as a game gets older because people just get better at the game over time.
