LB clones acts as a shield against skill shots?
Just take a second to look at LB passive. She gets stealth for 1 second, then produces a clone, then both herself and the clone reappear. So as if it was not hard enough to find the real LB, the clone has a hidden power that goes unnoticed.
It acts as a shield for LB, soaking up skill shot damage in that few seconds it is produced. This by itself can be considered like a mini Yasuo wind wall.
I bring this up because, I play as Lucian, and I've notice this several times when playing against LB. I will wait for her to use her dash then I go in with W then ult. I do this from a safe distance cause I don't want to get close. What happens next is no surprise to me. LB passive actives. I can see my ult is landing while she is stealth-ed so I maintain my steady stream of shots. What I can't tell is that I might be hitting her clone instead of her. She escapes because the clone just block most of the damage.
That plus all the mobility/hard cc/ burst damage she has seems a bit much. I can see shaco clone functioning as a shield as he is melee and not the mobile, but it is too much on LB kit.
I think this is an underling power LB has that goes unnoticed even by riot. The idea of the passive is to deceive you, not soak up a ton of damage.
So would it be to much to ask what is riot stance on this? Is it something they are aware of and think that LB needs? What are your thoughts? Should the clones be allowed to soak up so much damage?
