I feel bad for this champions but in same time glad that people bannding such toxic looking and disgusting monster hidden under skin of being champions.

I don't feel bad for Akali at all. A champion with such a disgusting mechanic deserves to be thrown into the endless ban pit. Everything else about her is amazing and works just fine, and yet they simply had to add that one thing that would push the champion over the edge - that thing being true stealth.

Its stupid though that a champ is banned so often and makes it a waste of a ban since they don't seem they want to fix this dumb mechanic. Like disable the champion. I mean some games she is banned twice which could be used for other champs lol.

Akali would need to have a 35% WR for her to have a sub 50% banrate, just remove the true stealth ffs how hard can that be.

How it can be hard to remove alot of toxic things in this 6 champions, right got to grab the money from people

Switching true stealth for actual stealth won't change anything. Only a handful of champions in the entire game have a reveal meaning that it will only EVER come up in fringe cases. In most games (against basically any mage in the game) it functions the exact same. The only difference that would come up OFTEN enough is LeBlanc E.

The only other champions that would benefit from it switching over would be: Caitlyn, Fizz (on R), Karma (on W), Kled (on E and Q), Lee Sin (Q), Lulu (E), Nidalee (Passive), Rengar (ulti only on closest target but doesn't matter since that is how it works NOW and since his ult fades when he jumps he loses the sight), Poppy (R), Thresh (Q), Twisted Fate (R), and finally Zyra (W).

Almost all of these champions are going to be bad picks into akali regardless (TF), is way too situational (Nidalee, Zyra, TF, Rengar, etc.), or are simply not going to be interacting with her for 90% of the game anyway which is......almost the entire list since there are barely any mid laners here and most people's problem with the shroud is in laning phase.

What I am getting at is changing the ult from "true stealth" to "normal stealth" is going to do absolutely nothing for the champion in like 90%+ of match ups. You are still SOL playing someone like Xerath or Lux into her since you are going to be JUST AS BLIND as you would be if it was still true stealth.

MuffledGarbage4 votes

Towers can't see through True Stealth you Dunce. Changing her True Stealth to Invisibility makes it so she can't get free towerdives at level 3.

Imagine a windwall that works against everything. That's pretty much her W.

Yasuo has too high play- and win-rate for a "hard" champion... but is one of the champions that sells skins, so won't be touch anytime soon.

Why does Pyke have such a high banrate wth

Because he is a faster, stealthy, has good CC on top of Grab unlike blitzcrank, can resset like Katarina, Can 1vs1 better then talon and zed can, also has forgiving sustain some AOE and waveclear

There is a lot of reasons imo. I always permaban him because his health regen passive. And i know he can't get extra HP from items, but that passive allows him to win any poor trade in lane. His Q is disgustingly OP, because he can move while casting it, Which allows him to zone enemies from cs or objectives. Despite having good laning and match ups, He also outroam most of supports because his W. His E is AOE stun. And if he failed it, he can just fix everything by use his flash behind the target !! I also hate his ultimate so much, 0/10 Pyke can get a pentakill by pressing R only, and it gives gold too. I'm sure you can make 3 champions from his kit only, because he is overloaded. And I FKING HATE THAT NOISE WHEN HE KILLED ME WITH HIS ULTIMATE.

Why does Pyke have such a high banrate wth

Bc he was pretty strong built tank before this patch and people haven't adjusted yet. Plus his sustain screws over poke lanes and anyone who takes ignite both of which are quite popular rn

Gonna give a controversial opinion, Yasuo is 100x less cancerous than Akali Irelia and Leblanc and offers much more counterplay. He looks balanced next to these champs.

SpongebobIsLife4 votes

i think it's more just yasuo invalidating mages and adcs. There are more champions that can deal with him, this is true.

My Waifu Vanilla1 votes

And the same group of champions that dumpster Yasuo will dumpster Irelia. I don't see the problems here. There is a reason Irelia is like a C or D tier top laner.

I mean they don't have over 50% banned rate like the top 10 who auto win anything.

auto win everything

or

sub 54% winrate

Pick one. One is reality. The other isn't.

floo11 votes

Yet they feel shit to play against. Hence the high banrate.

Sharpest glasses1 votes

i dont feel like shit against Yasuo, i shit on them when i play a bruiser (and am just more useful if i play a mage). Pyke isn't so much an issue since he's build squishier.

Always funny when people use that excuse.

You: [Pulls out stats]

Them: [Never responds again, says the site is biased, or suddenly claims stats don't matter]

Lil Homie busta4 votes

That's not a very good argument. Regardless of the player level, the capability of a champion to cause frustration is mainly linked to mechanics that makes his opponents feel powerless and incapable (Windwall, Smoke screen, LB's chain, etc). This sentiment of inability goes beyond elos and skill levels, even when you learn how to deal with it.

Damn, even Riot's dev team admitted that some of those champions have non balance problems in their kit like being very hellish to play against.

floo5 votes

Doesn't have a single thing to do with low elo, that a single ability can block 50% of the entire ability roster in the game.. it's just stupid. As a bruiser you wont have a problem, obviously. Try playing against a Yasuo or Pyke as an adc and you'll notice.

Sharpest glasses1 votes

On my main account, and even on this i played against Yasuo with sh*t like Ryze, Xerath, Ziggs... Even Varus. But i know how to play every classes... so maybe its just me but i know how to handle him.

floo1 votes

Alright, if you have some insight on what I could do as an ADC against Yasuo, I'd love to genuinly know. I think there is no other champ that is this annoying to face, if you don't have a cc bot support with you.

Sharpest glasses1 votes

its about micro... positionning is what you should work on as adc. I think you should train assassins and divers to understand how they players thinks.

But yeah, if Yasuo is an issue for you (and your picks), just ban him. Like when i play Wukong top i ban Trynda (trynda isnt strong), but when i play Jax or even Aatrox they're no chance in hell i ban him. Same when i play i Varus i play heimer.

TLDR : against shit like Yasuo (and assassins) your positionning is what matter (its unlikely you're support will have no cc). Ban whats you can't deal with.

floo1 votes

The thing is, that no matter what your position is, he's almost always got a way to get to you. Be it in lane with your own minions, in a tf with literally any form of displacement.. And as soon as he's near you, you're fucked, if you don't have flash ready. Yea he's already my permaban. Recently played mid and forgot it, immediatly regretted that game. Not gonna change my ban until they do something about him. There are so many people complaining about this abomination and Riot doesn't care..

Pika Fox2 votes

Ban rate has nothing to do with champion strength. Most of the time its just percieved strength. Any champion that is popular will get an inflated ban rate. Even if ryze was at a 10% w/r, if he had 100% pick rate he would stomp you often enough to where you thought he was OP and so youd ban him.

ValiantKiller1 votes

But it does reflect how toxic the champions kit is and how it impossible to deal with..so yah.

Pika Fox1 votes

Again, no it doesnt. All it means is that the champion is popular. Popular champs have higher ban rates because youre more likely to have lost to them given they get played more.

Just nvm no point in arguing with the way you think.

Pika Fox1 votes

Its literally how it works. Ban rate is almost never related to actual champion strength. Most popular bans are below 50% WR, often around 48. It also has nothing to do with the kit or if its "toxic" or not. Those are just player excuses for their own shortcomings. The reality is the champ is popular, so it gets picked often, so you lose to them frequently (you also win against them often, but that doesnt get remembered) and so you just ban them because you either want to play against something else, or you think theyre better than they actually are.

It is the No. 1 reason for banning. I don't care if every one wanted to play Banana in all rolls I will never ban her.Soraka
