For reals, why can't you manually use Xerath's ult? Like every other ult in the game?

Unless this got fixed, Xerath is seemingly the only champion in the game you cannot click and fire their ult. It just doesn't do anything when you click it.

To use Xerath's ult, you have to Press R. Literally only way to get it to go off. Every other ult in the game doesn't force this upon you, so why this ult?? Especially since his OLD ULT was essentially the same thing, and you could do it manually!!

Why in the name of all that is holy would you even want to do that? Clicking on abilities is what lvl 1s do.

Irelia's ult, Viktor's ult

It's better to play the game with 2 hands instead of 1 tho, it's just better unless you have really, REALLY quick right arm/hand.

If that's so, well I won't question what you do every night.

I haven't played Viktor, but I'm 90% sure you can very ineffeciently still use Irelia's ult without pressing R.

Annie's ult, Shaco's ult, Yorick's ult, Mordekaiser's ult.

All of those can be used by pressing the icon/button, not locked to only functioning if you press R specifically.

This isn't even a question of "should you", it's "can you".

Last time I played Xerath, I couldn't use my ult period unless I pressed the R key. It was incredibly jarring.
