I can't kill ADC's as assassins anymore

For instance, I'm playing Talon. I pop the Jinx's guardian angel, next thing I know she lifesteals back to full health and kills me without a problem.

Someone help me please.

You already killed her when you popped her GA. Assassins are not meant to survive prolonged fights. They're meant to jump in, kill the target and quickly disengage.

This reminds me of... god I can't even remember but it was a while ago. ADCs and Mages (LeBlanc) would get jumped, and IF you managed to pop their GA, they'd oneshot you and slip away after healing to full health. If the GA DID go off, you'd be sitting there for a few seconds either rooted by some BS cc they have for some reason or trying to kill them. If you didn't wait it out to kill them fully, you'd lose every teamfight. This wasn't as an 0/12/0 Rammus, either. This was in my day, with Rengar top. I was 21/9, if I recall correctly, and I expected to be able to kill my enemies.

You did your job by popping the GA. Now your job is to get out alive so you can kill the adc again later.

Ok, but other times when I went for an assassination, I got her but barely because of her damage and lifesteal.

I don't know much about Talon, but from what I could tell playing against him he generally falls off later in the game pretty easily. So you're mostly meant to snowball early game and end the game early. That's actually how many assassins are meant to be, but champions like Rengar currently stay really strong even in the late game.

Popping GA and ZH is an objective.

Knowing that they are down, and for how long is a huge advantage for you and your team.

Fortunately, for most assassins, your abilities that help you to assassinate the ADC are not on cooldown for as long as either GA or ZH.

Pop them, get out, come back, get the kill.

Or, coordinate with your team to get it popped before you engage and pick up the kill.

This is literally what these items are designed for, to counter assassins.

Learn to play around them.

Recently I saw only 2 times assasins to do well - one was a Zed main who was massively outplaying the enemy team, the other was KhaZix who got fed and basically 1v5ed... Also Kata, but she is overpowered atm.
