Riot was talking about reworking her, but ppl didn't like the direction they were going in. Now riot seem to have just forgotten about her again.

The issue is they dont know what to do with her to please both sides. If you give back the shield bomb, shits gonna be pretty aids in some situations. On the other hand the W change is very....odd. Overall she needs a rework akin to Warwick's (Changed a good chunk, but in reality just reworked how things worked (new E though)) to expand on this spiritual concept and flesh out a better kit.

The problem is the majority of her player base plays her as a enchanter and would probably not want her to be anything else. But the karma mains on reddit and boards will just say reee if that happens and for some reason people will get make at riot for not listening to the small minority of karma mains.

The problem is that Karma is a Battlemage, a Mage, and an Enchanter.

How the hell do you preserve that through a rework? Karma is not in need of a soft-delete and reimagining.

I mean Morde was a melee mage, > bruiser,melee carry and is now going to be an assassin.

There are ways of doing that in either a simple small scale update, or a large scale rework:

Small scale: revert the 5.10 Mantra changes, and give W an ally function.

Or...

Large scale: literally anything. If Riot sets out with the goal to make a hybrid battlemage-enchanter (which is isn't a far-out concept), they have more than enough talent to make it happen.

as long as karma remains a generic shield bot (like any enchanter) then nothing riot does with her will matter unless they go far out of the box with her other spells.
