Riot How do I queue up as Roaming Singed in ranked?

Im not trying to troll, I legit want to try Roaming Singed in ranked after success in normals on my smurf.

Would I queue as top and tell my team I will roam?

Support?

Jungle?

You just don't. Obviously there is a reason "Roam" isn't a role.

within reason.

The 1-1-1-2 meta is basically a core part of the game at this point, with lanes being able to swap and switch, but that's the basic layout, 1-1-2 in any order plus jungler.

Anything else requires far more communication than possible in ranked solo queue and will just end in disaster.

So shit like adc Ahri, bruiser Akali, botlane support pantheon, botlane carry renekton (when you have another adc on your team mid/top/jungle), knock yourself out (although you'll probably get yelled at and drop in rating for it).

Leaving your botlane partner alone to get shit on, or queuing jungle with no smite, wasting xp and relinquishing basically all objective control - keep that shit in premades.

i just call it as i see it.

playing something that sacrifices a lot of the chances of winning, plus a lot of the fun from your 3 teammates, plus making one of teammate's lane phase a living hell, just for "hipster points", shits and giggles and your own enjoyment, and in RANKED of all places, makes you a moron. Period. EDIT: also throwing your champion select into complete fucking disarray.

For the third time, find friends to play this with, troll blindpicks/customs with it, or gtfo.

Make a group with four friends and ensure the rest are fine with you playing Roaming Singed.

Usually no support while I roam and get my team fed.

Then I suppose you would queue as support - just be prepared to play a traditional support if your team don't like the idea of having a Roaming Singed instead.

If you HAD TO DO IT, I would suggest Jungle, this way your bot isn't fucked in a 1v2, and that the top and mid aren't taking turrets for free.

You don't. Because that puts your ADC behind and your whole team. Jungler is there for roaming, so is mid and top if he takes TP. Don't make your whole team have a less fun game because you want to be off meta. Go singed jungle if you need to but just dont be a roaming champion. no gold income, no xp, and ruins bot lane.

Roam as a dedicated role hasn't worked since like Season 1, and even then, it was mostly cheesing with like Alistar or something.

A support can roam to midlane for a gank or a jungle invade, but just straight up roaming since the beginning? You're gonna be hitting lvl 3 when everyone's lvl 7, if you're lucky and provided you don't starve your jungler of farm.

I hate to use pro's as an example, but roaming is the meta at that level. Part of what makes it work is that both sides are doing it though. That paired with their level of skill and expertise.

The 1-1-2+1 thing is there to provide a common base starting point in the formation of a team. The core everything's built around. Failing that, there's utter chaos and you need at least a good 3 minutes just to nail down who goes where playing what, assuming everyone's up for it, which in most cases...isn't the case...
