it looks like only Zyra's Passive and W changed. How does this change her relationship with the support role? I really liked her down there but S5 was not her time. I don't think these changes help her position in the support role, so I'm hoping people can convince me otherwise.
HexaDecimel1 votesHer new passive greatly increases her ability to zone out the opposing botlane. Her original passive was really somewhat pointless so basically having this new one to allow you to spawn more plants will be much better in mid and bot lane.
Her passive plant pods last for 60 seconds and will reveal an enemy for 2 seconds if stepped on. This will be helpful if they are along common gank paths.
Her new W increases the area she can hit so she can more effectively spawn 3 or 4 plants. This creates an even more dangerous area the fend off the opposing lane.
They also buffed her movement speed by +15
PopCorn Chick3n1 votesBut they nerfed her Q damage and ratio. On top of that, making the new rectangular shape Q that is really hard to poke enemy but easy to proc her seeds. I don't mind the random passive. Just revert her Q shape.
HexaDecimel1 votesThe reduced damage would be to account for the fact that you can now have more then 2 plants attacking at one time. The change in shape is to allow for a greater area of control. Sure It might be a little hard to hit at first, but it seems fine on pbe.
