Whats with ranked lately

Indeed i am about to stop ranked for a bit and take a break. I was at 1047mmr climbed from b4 to b2 almost into b1 had a 8 game losing streak nothing i did matter as my team was just trolling toxic and dicking around. i got tossed back into b3 got a 2 game win steak now back on a 3 game losing streak and my mmr dropped almost 100points. I am rather fed up with this happening and it seems like everytime i play i go for a great gank the timing is right and bam i jump and the laners wait to try to take the kill instead of joining in.

I stopped. You can look at my match history IDC. When I win a game my team drops in MMR substantially. The enemy team rises in MMR. When I win a game, it's because my team has like 300-400 more MMR than the enemy. When I lose my team has like 600 MMR less. I can't even be mad at them it's not their fault. Doesn't matter what I do, game's determined in lobby because Riot matches a 1k MMR person against a 1.3k MMR person

I'd say this is the fall out from DQ. Full resets would have been much more effective.

I just played my first ever flex queue matches tonight. Two with only 1 friend (rank/MMR is lower than mine) and the last one solo.

All 3 matches, my team was overall the lower elo one by a sizeable margin and it showed. Oh god, did it show. They were all stomps. I even had a bronze III on my team while the enemy had a season 6 plat II and golds, plus they had blue side on top of it all. Isn't the lower elo team supposed to be aided by having the nice camera angle?

Well anyway, maybe because it's flex queue, but I felt like I (and my friend) shouldn't have been thrown into matches like that in ranked, especially consecutively.

Perhaps my luck is rotten or some of them were secretly smurfs. Who knows.

I think something fucked up happened up in Plat ranking. There must have been a huge traffic jam or something because I dont think many people have been able to climb out of this filth for a while now

My last game went like this :

Our team : Silver 5 Silver 3 Gold 4 Silver 2 (me) Level 30 ????

Their team : Silver 3 Silver 2 Gold 5 Gold 5 Silver 2

Couldn't carry with highest damage, most wards placed, highest CS on my team and least death.. What the fuck is this ranking system ? How am I supposed to carry someone who goes 2/8 in lane ? How is a silver 5 player supposed to compete agaisnt someone who was plat last season rofl this ranked system is garbage.

About a week ago, most of my ranked games were either complete throws or complete stomps. Either way, there was a huge difference in the score and the games ended quickly. It was weird.

That's alright, I got to Gold and now it seems like I play exclusively with Plats and Diamonds.
