Trying to run down-right, minimap runs up-left - can we deal with this in 2019?
I like to use my minimap to move most of the time, I don't want to turn it off.
But in the middle of a teamfight, when I'm trying to run towards the bottom-right side of the screen, and accidentally clip the very top-left corner of the minimap and my character makes an immediate 180 turn and I get myself killed. I can't be the only person that has died more times than I care to count due to this.
This almost always happens during late teamfights where we're in the jungle and my opponents are up-left of me. My screen is positioned aggressively up-left so I can see my opponents and react to their abilities, and hit my own. With the minimap on the bottom right, it leaves very little room to actually move in that direction when I need to kite or just get away.
My last game, I got a kill on the enemy support as
and had ult'd to the down-right direction before Cassio laid her W out, getting me free and clear. Should have been an easy walk in that direction, R over the wall, free escape and pick in the late game. Instead, with so little room to click, I accidentally clicked on the minimap and walked back into Cassio's grounded effect, thereby denying my second R and getting me killed - we then lost the game during that death timer.
Like we've done all these adjustments to make you click on the right thing. If my previous movement command wasn't on the minimap and my new movement command is towards the edge of the minimap AND would make me run in a different direction (let's say more than a 45 degree turn) then instead consider if the click went THROUGH the minimap would that be more like my current trajectory and take that instead?
