Kat is not OP, but her effort: reward ratio by far too low

She is not overpowered, she has counterplay, but it's really unfair that she gives so much reward for so little practice, when 90% of midlane champions require skill to be effective. Easy mode champions should not be this good. Imagine if Garen is as good as Renekton, or Xin Zhao is as good as J4, its not fair.

She needs nerfs, maybe not to her damage, but if she is to keep her current damage she needs to be more difficult. The change in the latest patch is a step to the right direction but its not enough. I think a reasonable change would be to raise her passive reset time from 15 to 20 seconds, while increase her ultimate CD from 90/60/45 to 120/80/60 seconds. This way Katarina requires the same amount of resets to have her ultimate off CD, but if she doesn't get a reset, she is punished with a longer CD.

She already has an abysmal early game, that would just make it harder for her to get kills and/or snowball. If riot wants to nerf kat, they have to completely rework her. Her kit wont allow for damage reductions, or significant nerfs to her passive.

People should be required to play a few bot games as Kat before they are allowed to PVP. BEGINNER level bots deal with Kat better than most human players. Let them get kited or quickly silenced/stunned whenever they go for the kill and flat out bullied whenever their ult is down as Kat until they realize they can do the same when they're up against her.

When you're up against players who know how to handle Kat, it's a whole different game and it does take a lot of effort to predict, watch for and capitalize on the right opportunity to do serious damage without getting killed.

The skill is in the lane phase but when people suck Kats get to skip that skill requirement.

Personally I think she needs to have the range of her Shunpo to be slightly decreased (or at least have the range of the skill fairly low at early levels and increase it as you level it up.)

Right now it is far too easy to zone out enemies at Level 6 and above due to both her poke with her Q and the threat level of a direct Shunpo into Death Lotus.

This would also help in making her a little more gank-able.

This is just another qq thread about her being faceroll easy to play. It's just a myth, give it a rest.

Kat has a low skill floor and a high skill ceiling. It isn't rocket science.

There's a reason she isn't played in the lcs.

She needs a bit of a rework. She does extremely well in low elo but poorly in higher elo. That means she needs to be reworked to require more skill and buffed(sounds crazy i know). She shouldn't be pressing 1 button to delete people and at the same time she shouldn't become instantly useless when a team has heavy cc.
