You have to give Rito credit for Ekko
He's the second new champion in a row that doesn't have a knockup! Rito listened to our complaints and acted on it! All hail Rito!

no knockup? better put an aoe stun on an assassin,
I play ekko a lot. He still needs:
*removal of the W passive *removal of the base heal on his ult (he's rewinding time. If he didn't get hurt, HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO HEAL ANYTHING) *mana cost on his ult (the only one that's happening)
Without even reading the comments, I know there will be a large number of people complaining that he has an overloaded kit.
Pick your poison.
I like Ekko. I don't personally prefer to play him, but I think it's great design. He can be powerful, has a lot of utility, but can be countered by players that understand his kit.
LCS isn't be all and end all, but I think the past two weeks have show how balanced Ekko actually is.
Perfect example of "be careful what you wish for". That good ol' Riot monkey's paw...
I dare riot to release two immobile champions in a row. Or ever again. Who was the last immobile champ released? Who was the last champ who never sees lcs play. Wow, it's the same champ!
I read this and thought, "eh, he's right."
I mean let's be honest guys, it could've been worse. At least you can build tenacity against his stun. Imagine an AoE knock-up!
An Assassin that does a ton of damage? Truly truly outrageous. If you get hit by more than his first Q without trading back, you're bad. If you let him proc his passive during a trade, you're bad. If he is able to predict where you will be in 3 seconds and land a stun on you, you're bad.
Ekko is stupidly easy to lane against and deal with in teamfights. Like all assassins, he excels in skirmishes, but has soooooo much counterplay potential that if you die to him, you deserve it 100%.
