I think I can speak for 80% of LoL players, the burst mechanic of Thunderlords is too fun and can be abused to win skirmishes alot easier than a DoT.

Yes, that extra 5% AP on http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/7/71/Deathfire_Touch_mastery_2016.png/revision/latest?cb=20151103094525 will make all the difference.

Still the best choice for all of these Hecarim Darius Fizz Urgot Swain Teemo Talon Singed Ryze Rumble Malzahar Cassiopeia Anivia yet I still see thunderlords on them.

Thunderlord's Decree is an equally viable choice, if not better on Fizz. He is an assassin and wants do burst down people. Thunderlord's Decree make his burst a lot stronger. I could see Fizz using DFT against teams with lots of tanks or bruisers, however.

The other champs are better off with Deathfire Touch, however.

First hecarim always goes thunderlord

Darius always undying

fizz thunderlord

urgot is so in need of a rework......

swain, rumble, cassi and brand should always use of DFT

teemo I can't remember if his DoT actually applies DFT

talon always thunderlord or stormraider(esp after the buff)

singed always undying

ryze always thunderlord or stormraiders(needs 45% cdr)

anivia should always thunderlord atm since you shouldn't be doing damage for longer than 3-4 seconds when you have to consistantly do 8-10 seconds of sustained damage to make DFT do more than thunderlord

The solution would be making it more specific for assassins, making it have a high enough cooldown so it will only be used to assassinate or make it only proc if the damage would kill the target.

I think they could replace Thunderlords with the ability of that new assassin item there were planning.

I use Strengh of the Ages with Hecarim, he needs the tenacity that Swiftness gives.
