In league sometimes simpler is better

trying to climb as a jungler? Don't play lee sin, elise, etc. Play simple stuff. Think amumu, fiddlesticks, jax, etc. This applies to all roles. Trying to get the lee sin insec play down is going to lose you more games then you will win.

I'd take out rengar and maybe even kha zix because if you don't snowball then you aren't all that useful to your team.

Darth StepVader1 votes

I suppose you're right, although kha is pretty much an easy to farm up and snowball champ nowdays. If one is afraid of screwing up, he/she can pick up Strength of the Ages, farm mainly jungle and get a cleaver+Guardians at some point. You become unkillable and deal insane amounts of damage pretty early on.

Marshbouy1 votes

You still don't want to risk it, i considered myself pretty good at rengar a while back (in my elo) but every once in a while i would meet a team that would make me feed

RainbowIcee1 votes

I'd take out Jax too, some people don't know jax stun can be used to dodge attacks and waste it prematurely.

Spaceman5pff1 votes

That's not jax being complicated, that is just people being stupid.

If you are jungling jax, and don't notice that you are not taking dmg with E up, then I don't know what to tell you. On the other hand, if you are playing Jax top and AREN'T tanking the creep wave at level 1 with E and and then AA-STUN-AA trading the enemy laner, I don't know what to tell you.

RainbowIcee1 votes

I also find it really bad the people that just start it off early into a duel and jump in with the stun rather than jump in first then activated it to dodge build up and gg it.

Spaceman5pff1 votes

AA enemy laner to draw aggro -> press e just before the creeps hit you -> hit them a few times -> let the stun pop -> walk away

The key is to stun the creeps near you (as well as the laner) so they drop aggro off you

Arakadia1 votes

New Poppy and Yorick take quite a bit more skill now, especially Yorick is more easily countered due to reliance on landing E and how easy you can kill his ghouls.

Marshbouy1 votes

Poppy is amazing as long as you can press E when someone jumps on your carry.

Nuparu1 votes

If your ability to use the map as a jungler is good, then playing Rengar is an incredibly easy way to climb.

Once you get down his stupid e, that is.

Source: am rengar main

Spaceman5pff1 votes

Used to be Rengar Main and can confirm. Once you learn how to reliably get that first kill or two, it is ezpzlemonsqueezy

Marshbouy1 votes

Do you really think low elo players have good map awareness?

Apocyliptic1 votes

Rengar and Kha' Zix aren't easy champions at all. The rest are okay though.

Warwick jungle is barely viable these days; he can't really gank till lvl 6 and when he does it's usually obvious because of his 2nd passive that no body ever turns off. Warwick is only useful for beginners to learn how to jungle who can't afford decent runes, which has changed due to tier 2 runes only costing 1 point. Sure he's easy but doesn't really bring much to the team. I'd probably add to your list: jarvan, gragas, rammus, hecarim, olaf, rek sai, udyr, malphite and xin zhao. I've also seen Nautilus jg. There is also Sejuani but I rarely see her in general so I assume it's hard now-a-days to jg with her so I doubt she would make your list of the easier JGs.

Master Lycan1 votes

TFW Warwick main and the rework can't come soon enough. Far to many games lost before I'm level 6, and my clear get me level 6 in 8-10 minutes tops. You guys can't wait 10 minutes when i can actually HELP YOU not feed your asses off. [zombie-nunu-bummed]

Try him out top lane, he is pretty darn good their, far better than people give him credit, although I suppose that is because few people know how to build him properly when top lane.

Warwick top had the lowest performance rating, then champion.gg realized how unpopular it was and simply removed it from the list

I like to play Warwick top into Garen and just never die.

Reliability vs Versatility.

If you pick a simpler champion, there is less you can screw up and your performance will still be consistent.

Playing low mechanic champions in low elo won't help you any more than high mechanic champions. I wish people would stop saying things like this. If a bronze player is good at Lee Sin, there is no reason why he shouldn't play him. He clearly has other problems (bad map awareness probably) that is keeping him in low elo. Playing amumu won't fix those problems.

im still trying to master Kindred even though the only jungler(s) i think i know how to play is Udyr and Sion and since kindred are so needlessly over nerfed its not going very well....

Darkslayer851 votes

Kindred mastery 7 here. Need some help?

CasterGilgamesh1 votes

im so bad i dont even know how to stop dying XD i mean im so predictable most smart enemies always get me right as i try to take the mark. Also im still trying to get used to being the main focus of everyone since it seems im getting focused 24/7 if you look at my match history even when i win i died so many times XD

Darkslayer851 votes

As Kindred starting blue is better than red, because you can head down to smite red later. It also puts you in position to grab your first mark, which is either a scuttle crab or the raptors. If you start red, you'll have to run through mid and reveal yourself to grab a raptor mark. You can just go through river if you start blue.

You also need to kite around your enemies instead of standing still and autoing. That isn't gonna cut it. Cancel your autos with Q and E, and issue an auto in the middle of a Q to reset your auto timer after you finish your Q animation.

thanks lots of things i didnt know :D <3

You're welcome. If you need any other advice you can ask.

Not a tip for Kindred, but just for jungling in general: http://static2.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_medium/mig/2/8/2/5/2302825-LOL_embed26.jpg

This map marks some good places for forward wards based on what side of the map you are on. Tracking down the enemy jungler with these wards and catching them by suprise is a good way to start up a nice lead.

Arakadia1 votes

I have a few questions, when are Kindred's power spikes. Is she someone you want to counter jg early on with? Is she someone who wants to farm up? Or is she good at ganking but really only shines damage wise late game? What are her core items?

Darkslayer851 votes

Good powerspike at three marks, level six, after bloodrazor, and after bork.

Kindred can do all three; they're very versatile. Personally I like to farm until 3, get a mark/gank, then start counterjungling/ganking. This is a very risky playstyle and it's not recommended if you're not very good at kiting as Kindred and/or don't know how to animation cancel their abilities.

Their core items are item 1419 item 3153 item 3085 , however this setup requires you to have some marks accquired due to a lack of AD.

If you're behind on marks, rush a item 1038 after item 3153

For offensive items I like item 3812 item 3031 item 3078 Defensively, I prefer item 3071 item 3022 item 3156

Normally I pick up a defensive item as my third item, after item 3085 . It really depends on your playstyle on whether you get an offensive or defensive item though.

Jungler PSA: LeeSin is more of a laner now.

CasterGilgamesh1 votes

y tho he falls off so hard late game

Spaceman5pff2 votes

Lane vs Jungle has no stake in this. His lategame will be just the same.

Also, in the hands of a good player, Lee doesn't fall off thanks to his utility through ult / mobility. Note: I am not one of those players.

Bagguette1 votes

I play Riven , I think you should play a champ you like and get good at them so you can carry.

AcidTheWarlock1 votes

Or play champs with a low playrate in your elo.

If you can carry, of course, since you'll usually win lane if you know the champ.

NodaYame1271 votes

Well what I do is use the champions i love not the ones that can make great plays or whatever, I do wish that Kindred could get a small buff back into the meta though

i dont think fiddle is simple im thinking something more likeWarwick

As far as jungle is concerned, I have rarely seen Jax be remotely useful in a game that doesn't get to 45 minutes. But maybe that's just me

Spaceman5pff2 votes

In the hands of someone that can predict the enemy jungler and set up counterganks, he can be totally devastating.

But that isn't reliable enough for him to be to my taste.

Spaceman5pff1 votes

Elise really isn't that complex once you get used to rappel.

You either hit coccoon and murder sum bitches or you don't hit coccoon and you dont murder sum bitches. Her farming is easy, her ganking is straightforward, and her pick potential is as simple as thresh or blitz.

The Deckowner1 votes

Jax is actually quite garbage in the meta right now, instead justplay someone like tryn and yi.
