Annie Rework?

With the immobile mage rework coming soon I really hope to see Annie part of that or following that. I know Vel and Zyra are being reworked, but honestly they are already fun, balanced champions that take skill and timing to play. I don't get why they are being reworked if Annie isn't. She has nothing but point and click abilities, can stun 5 people at once and do tons of AoE damage, and always has the ability to 100-0 someone no matter how fed she is or even if she is support. If a champion is going to be able to affect the game so much and easily carry, there should be some element of skill involved. She arguably has more carry potential and affect on the game than even the most difficult champions like Lee Sin or even syndra or velkoz. Power should be directly correlated to skill to use, not point and click for a 5 man stun and nuke. Not only is she point and click, but she can CS better than 90% of mid laners without using mana, and she often builds over 3k HP now and that makes her impossible to assassinate before she nukes your whole team. Annie has no counterplay or skill required, so there's something seriously wrong if well made champs like Vel are getting reworked and not Annie as part of your immobile mage project. *And there is no reason she shouldn't have been reworked when Ryze was with basically the same kit.

I was just thinking about this. Stonewall008 mentioned in one of his videos how Annie shouldn't be able to hold onto her stun for as long as she wants when she has point-and-click abilities. There's no counterplay to that other than keep as far away as possible and pray she doesn't have Flash summoner 4 up. Putting a decay on the passive stacks would be very much appretiated. And while they're at it, maybe add some kind of warning to Annie's ult? Like, she has an animation where she tosses Tibbers at the enemies to give them a chance to react if they're fast enough.

Think of it like VeigarVeigar. Riot put a delay and an animation on Veigar's E because it was unfair for a stun that can hit multiple people to be instant, yet they let Annie have an ultimate capable of stunning 5 people and dealing tons of damage without warning. And like I said about Annie throwing Tibbers. It would be like Veigar's ultimate, where it can deal insane amounts of damage if it hits, but it has to travel to the enemy first, allowing them time to activate Zhonya'sitem 3157, or use abilities that can stop it from killing them* (Kayle Lissandra Fizz Kindred Vladimir Zilean Yasuo Fiora).

*There are also shields to lower the damage.

No. Giving a decay on her passive stacks is wrong. She will drastically be unviable to play. How will she be able to defend herself if someone jumps on her? She can only burn flash because she doesn't have Zhonyas yet, due to the fact she's still farming, and she lost her stacks. That won't work.

Annie is a counter to mobility. Putting that decay makes her lose that specific job. She's a burst mage, that's why she can 100-0 people. It's just how she does it. Zed can 100-0 someone in a few seconds in his own way. Annie does it in hers. Stop complaining because you couldn't get out of her range for her to stun you.

She does have counterplay. She's slow and squishy (before she gets items) Abuse that. Click her to see how many stacks she has. Go in when it's low, stay away if it's 3 or 4. Build MR. Stay out of range when she hits 6.

She builds tanky because she's an immobile mage, and like I said above, slow and squishy.

I would be perfectly accepting of the non-decaying stacks if her ultimate wasn't impossible to avoid should she get in range. Add a short delay and animation, and I'll be happy.

If there was a decay on her stacks, it would be something like a good 10* second wait for it to start. Plenty of time to use it. She'll just have to use her shield more to keep them up. Use up some mana.

*extremely rough number. Not set in stone.

Also, I was not complaining. I was offering a civil and reasonable argument as to why I find her to be somewhat unfair. You could've just said, "I disagree", instead of outright saying I'm wrong. Don't be so black-and-white. There's room for debate and compromise.

I'm sorry but I have been saying this every time I see a stupid "Annie rework" thread. People need to learn how to play against her and stop asking for things that she doesn't need.

It is possible to avoid her stun. If you see her coming toward you, go the other way. Simple as that. And if you're smart enough to build MR, the damage she does if she catches you will be significantly lower.

Putting a delay on her ult won't work either. She's the counter to mobility. Since most mid laners are the stupid, high mobility champions like Yasuo, Zed, etc., she won't be able to hit a Tibbers stun on them because if it's delayed, they can easily dash out, therefore making her ult a waste and leaving her with no escapes besides her flash if its up. Therefore, that takes away her job of being a counter to those champions.

Edit: woops I used my smurf account. I'm still the gal from above.

I see your point, and I do understand the reasoning behind, but I still feel that she's a bit too overBEARing sometimes. I'm not begging for changes, I just would like it if Riot would look into it at least a little.

(When I realized I had unintentionally made that pun, I couldn't resist emphasizing it)

I'd also like to note that I'm done arguing this. It won't accomplish anything, so it's for the best if we all just move on to something else.

If Riot looks into it, then they might do something, and any change can drastically make her unviable to play, unless it's a buff (which is very unlikely since I don't think she needs anything). I just want people to stop complaining about her because Riot might look into it. She needs to stay as is.

That's the idea of a mage. She's a slow champion, with no escapes, focused on massive damage. Her kit does what it's supposed to. She's perfectly fine how she is. That's why she has remained this way for so long. I mean, she isn't even a top tier mid >.> Honestly it sounds to me like you have a personally hard time with her, and need to learn about her a bit more.

Exactly. People need top stop QQing because they didn't know how to stay out of range and got deleted by a little girl.

Annie is not being looked at in this current made update, Riot already confirmed.

Annie is a great champion imo. Also her targeted stun is really important to keep mobility creep in check. Dont change annie, please.
