@ Riot. Can something seriously be done for Riven or done to tanks.

This current meta is pretty ridiculous and honestly it seems to have no end in sight. Armor itemization and masteries such as grasp of the undying are cementing tanks on such a pedestal of both power and tankiness that its completely invalidating actual fighters (champions that HAVE to build damage in order to deal damage, like Riven for instance)

Riven really hasn't received any decent compensation for the massive indirect nerfs she got hit by upon the changing of the season and also the direct nerfs to her ult strength have only compounded on top of those changes. She's in honestly quite a horrible spot for a champion that is supposed to be highly rewarding for learning and putting the time forth in.

Take for instance Rammus (or insert generic tank here). Why should I play Riven top when Rammus can just build straight tank and dish out just as much or more damage as me (although not quite as fast) and then proceed to offer far more utility for the team as well.

What is the current incentive to play Riven in the world of tanks that just pollute the top lane simply just because they're better than the rest? Sure Riven is fun to play, but you know its also not fun to lose all the time simply because the champ I enjoy hasn't received any compensation for her state in the meta and just how easy it is to pick up a tank and do more for your team with three games of learning instead of the hours upon hours it takes to learn Riven (or really any champion that you have to put a lot of effort and time in to, but just cant measure up to the power and utility of tanks.)
