Playing a tank is less satisfying than playing supports

Playing a tank in this game is such hit or miss. You can do EVERYTHING in your power to make sure your carries have good opportunities to do damage and lose by a landslide.

There are two types of players (mainly) that I see. They are the types that when a fight starts, they go in, balls to the wall and fight that shit out.

The second is the type of player who, no matter what their role, pussyfoots around the outskirts of the fight, maybe throwing in a tickle spell every now and again. You do NOT want this person as your carry. You all know what im talking about. They are the person when a teamfight breaks out, they aren't quite sure what is going to happen, so with their mouse they kind of stand on the outskirts of the fight and move back and forth, as if deciding whether or not they are going to stay and fight, and leave. But they end up doing niether. They do absolutely no damage during the fight, your tanks/supports all die, then because they didnt run, they end up getting caught and die anyway.

AT LEAST if they just pinged back and committed to leaving, they would get away and give your tanks a chance to get out if they can as well. I cant stand playing a tank, going in, having 2 3 4 or 5 people focusing me, while my carries sit there like "oh boy, do I go in? what if he dies too fast? should I leave? but then they will be upset? Tank dies Well what if I cant kill them fast enough? OH NO HERE THEY COME" carry dies

Yea, nothing more frustrating. And talk about not having a satisfying game. You feel helpless. Like no matter WHAT YOU DO, no matter what decision you make, you are going to lose because your carries just don't have the right material to just do what they are supposed to do.

Just as a side note, this is why when people focus on stats, I just roll my eyes. Dying isnt always a bad thing. It takes resources to kill you, sometimes, A LOT. A carry who goes into a fight knowing they may die, and end up getting a ton of damage off, is worth 100 carries who back off and don't help. I DONT CARE if you average 10 kills and 2 deaths. You know what that tells me? That tells me you end up bailing on your team A LOT more often than not. ANYONE can get kills as a carry and not die a lot. Thats not the point of this game. this game is objective driven. I dont care if you get a kill in a teamfight without dying but your whole team did. All you are doing is screwing over your team and allowing the enemy team a chance to take objectives. So please, stop bragging about stats. Stop making your top priority to not die. The top priority is to help your team. If that means dying in the process, good, I'm proud of you.

Agree, playing tank can be fun just standing and taking all the damage 1v5 and your team destroying them for it, or you can have a team that feeds and you are like Well...Fuck

Garen is a fighter, not a tank.

I've had games as Sejuani where I get focused and still don't die.

It's all about being decisive and committing.

Once you commit, you go all in.

Backing out? What do you think this is, LCS?
