Dont play ranked if its "just a game"

It's not hard to understand. I get it. You just don't get the logic of 'competitive' is not the same 'i need to be an asshole to my teammates because they do not conform to my thought of how you should play'... which is what you are doing.

Furthermore, there's a difference between RANKED and professionally sports players. It's not comparable. Do you get paid anything? No, you sure as heck don't to play Ranked. Therefore your comparison is not valid. It's not your JOB. It's your RECREATION.

Ranked is where you go to see where your skills lie. You try to play your best. Yes, however, you should stop and think (asking a lot it seems) for a second at how seriously you're taking a recreational activity (see before where we covered how you don't get a wage to play League of Legends).

Ranked is more akin to tournaments in sports. Not professional (hence your lack of wage to play LoL). I know for sure that TONS of competing players in tournaments do not cry like this post if their teammate doesn't play exactly as you expect your teammate to play. "OMG! You wore Nikes instead of Adidas?! YOU KNOW NOTHING OF <insert any competitive sport here> GTFO!" Also I've been in those competitive tournament style sports, and everyone hates that person who takes it WAY TOO SERIOUSLY. Trust me. You are just angry. Get over it.

It IS just a game. It is ranked and competitive. However, that does not invalidate that it is_ just a game._ Nor does holding the mindset that it is_ just a game_ mean that you do not take playing the game seriously. It more of means that you don't get upset when something doesn't go as you wanted it to... or lose.

That's where the argument lies that you're failing to recognize. "It's just a game" doesn't have to mean you don't try to play your best. It can also mean that hey... it's a game. If I try something new and it doesn't work out, no big deal. My life won't end.

I don't get how hard the simple concept outlined here is for people to understand. In the end, accept that it's your OPINION of ranked play. Otherwise, you can show me where Riot has outlined what Ranked means in their game.. and how people need to follow it according to the summoner's code. Anything else is you just trying to dictate how others play the game (because you're telling them how Ranked is when it's opinionated [aka Riot {aka the people in charge of Ranked} hasn't set down rules] and not something set in stone). Despite your objections to saying you're not doing that exact thing.
