They need to change the way DH interacts, like why did it go from procing on an AA to literally any ability will proc it? He literally never runs out of mana. He can spam his Q nonstop for several minutes. It doesn't help that his Q Range matches most adc's atk range so he's able to perfectly lay q if you even dare approach to AA a minion.

i mean how hard is it as an adc to take something like NULL ORB in runes to help vs his magic damage/ult or maybe just maybe get something like a

JackMcSnipeyz5 votesBuying defensive early is a death sentance to your relevancy for the next 10 minutes of the game, that's part of the marksmen problem. You cant efford to build anything but Botrk/storm razor or you will be so behind you will never come back.
Yes, maybe karthus ult wont finish you by it's own, but you still wont be able to fight him since his poke is constant so he has no problem popping it then going all in, but at the same time, you put yourself so behind in terms of damage, karthus will just roll over you with his AoE and slow and you wont be able to trade with him. That's not even counting OTHER champions who arent karthus.
This is a DH and marksmen problem tho, karthus as a champion is fine

i dont get how having a lil def early vs a ranged carry that is gonna be the biggest source of damage from the enemy a problem? i get what you are saying but if you deny him killing you/pulling you out of lane then you win lane by default
JackMcSnipeyz3 votesNull orb wont do shit, the shield is too small and the CD is long enough for karthus to drop you pretty easily. Same with all your other suggestions, defensive is not optional for marksmen, you are already not relevent without your core 4 items (Storm, Zeal, IE, armor pen) that you cant efford to rush hex drinker or take defensive runes because the runes wont be enough to stop the amount of damage in the game, and the items will just set you back from the point you become relevent.
This is a game balance problem, not just karthus, but karthus will still be relevent with 1 item even after he dies, marksmen wont.
