Can anyone give me some advice on playing Poppy?

I like her kit, I like her personality, I like her voice, I like her story, everything about her, and her kit is fun, but I just can't make it work. : /

So, could anyone give me any advice on making her actually work? I wouldn't be playing her tanky, I'd build her more as a bruiser, ideally.

She seems like a passive aggressive champ still, so i'm sure the best way to get better with her is to just play her more. Learn your limits through trial and error. Utilize her shield in lane and don't waste your W, also save your ult for incoming ganks or if u are losing a duel really bad. I wouldn't recommend using it offensively.
