Would a couple QOL changes to wukong really put him over the top?

Would improving his ult tick rate and allowing him to use tiamat while ulting really make him broken? Wukong is one of the few champions that really never gets looked at or helpful tweaks in patch notes despite almost always being a fringe pick.

The arguments against his ult tick rate being broken with cleaver don't really make sense when garen's e isn't even an ultimate and it ticks faster. And the inability to use hydra while ulting doesn't make sense when riven can do it whilst in her ability animations.

At the very least can you give us an explanation for not giving these changes besides 'we feel wukongs in a good place right now' even though we havent seen him once in competitive this season.

Wukong's stealth->ult combo dooms him to be mostly soloQ pick.

And in soloq, he is fine, experienced WK player is one of scariest things out there, despite of seemingly simple kit.

Although this Hydra thing - I think they should allow it, if he ults you there isn't really a way for you to avoid it anyway.

Just because LCS doesn't play him that doesn't make him not viable. Look at Nasus- Perfectly fine champion and kit, yet LCS never touches him. Wukong is great at solo queue where coordination isn't perfect- in LCS, people are smarter there, so he isn't as effective. Also, keep in mind Wukong ticks with up to 200 base damage at max rank with a 100% AD Ratio. Get 400 AD and you stat check most ADCs in one combo. And adding AoE to the already AoE skill isn't smart.

The problem is the laning phase against the actual champions: Against super tank like Nautilus / malph is impossible to trade, against bruiser like renekton or pantheon or Darius ( one of the most hard lane for wu imo) is impossible to trade, against champion with does true damage ( see fiora, darius) the passive is useless. And if one of this champion start a splitpush, wuk cannot effort a 1v1 against noone of them. His teamfight potential is one of the best of the game, i agree with that, but this is not enough in my opinion

Teamfight potential in exchange for a crappy laning phase. That's balanced. The last thing we need is Wukong to become a problem champion and have him be nerfed.

i agree with u... despite it should be same for tank... weak early better mid and late... but due to the grasp, its very hard to the top with the king.
