Yasuo crit passive doesn't make sens
why is a melee carry having a better mid game for a worse late game than an ADC?
why is a melee carry having a better mid game for a worse late game than an ADC?
It's supposed to allow him to get away with less damage items than an ADC so he can build some utility items in order to survive.
less damage items? Yasuo is supposed to be a melee carry, they do as much damage as ranged adc
But due to the crit passive, yasuo will buidl IE+shiv/PD into some other items like frozen mallet. This gives him around 200 AD and 100% crit, but he also needs an other attack speed item since his attack speed nerf/lvl, he will end up dealing around 450 damage per hit, when an ADC hits for like 750 damage per hit due to no crit penality and more AD (around 300)
Not only this, but the double crit makes it so yasuo gets an immense power by buying a 30% crit item (making it 60%). and his mid game is like infinitly better than other carries.
They should just remove the crit penality along with the double crit passive
Honestly I think removing his crit passive doesn't really help his late. It suffers in comparison because IMO he's melee and doesn't have the safety of ranged.
well no shit, of course it won't help him in late, but that's why they should do other changes
because right now yasuo isn't good in late game at all, sure he is fine but he isn't like how a melee carry is
You say that as if melee carries have been successful.
Honestly when you put it like that it makes a lot of sense.
no no no hes right it doesn't make any sens, but it does make sense
I mean, melee champions almost always have stronger mid game spikes than late game spikes. Yasuo, a melee champion, spikes harder in the mid game and less in the late game than a Ranged ADC thus follows.
I was making a joke about how he spelled sense sens in the title
Yi doesn't spike in mid game, and continue to spike no matter what until full build same for literally any right click melee champs
Yasuo is the exception because he loses damage in late game due to crit penality
I suspect the reason for Yi appearing to scale into late game without a mid game spike is because of his Jungle build's spiking in the late game. Ever play laning Yi, or watch Faker play Yi Mid? Level 1 cheese and Midgame power spikes taking advantage of far more aggressive itemization choices and Yi's high AD Ratios leans him away from the typical "Wait until super late game" power spike you'd typically see in a hyper carry.
Another Right Click Champ is Tryndamere, who while I admit also spikes hard in the super late game, also happens to have a notable mid game bump if you look at his statistics relative to how long the game is. In fact, the shape of Trynd's win rate is the same as Yasuo's.
Perhaps you should do a bit more research on the topic.
While I don't like his passive, I don't think there's anything wrong with him being a midgame oriented champion - not every melee carry needs to be a SUPER STRONG LATEGAME GOD
then that's not a melee carry
Its still a melee carry, just like early-midgame oriented ADCs like Lucian are still ADCs. Power curves don't define classes.
Nop, Crit build lucian is actually insane, i think his R no longer crit, but his passive can crit and it removes a fucking ton of hp, i know this because i main him
Yasuo is one of the best late game champions in the game lol wtf.

That hot mid game power curve.
Yasuo's mid game is his weakest point because he has to build damage for the hot 100% crit (though this is less true with the Frozen Mallet after PD build), which means that in fights he is prone to getting blown the fuck up.
His late game team fighting and damage is still excellent, but he is also more survivable.
A Yasuo in the late game is more valuable than most other top laners.
OK, but his mid game is still stronger than other carries (maybe it's on the same lvl of some bullshit like jinx or cait) while his late game is definitly worse than the other carries

Based on what?
The only ADC that he might not be able to kill by himself is Vayne, and he provides a lot of CC and utility in late game team fights. He gets more armour penetration than a Last Whisper without actually having to buy one, and though his crits deal reduced damage he will always crit, giving him higher overall DPS than most of them. He is more self-sufficient than most carries, while still benefiting greatly from having his team tailor their picks around him (so like Nautilus support, Orianna mid, Vi jungle, etc). He is also one of the only champions (the other being Tryndamere) who was unconditionally buffed in the late game by the changes to fervor of battle, which give him more damage per auto than the old one did due to his ability to crit every auto attack.
Yasuo is not as strong late game as Vayne or Twitch (though he is more self-sufficient than Twitch), but he is easily comparable to most carries, and outscales a few of them as well.
You should probably read that graph next patch. It changes all the time

I read it pretty much every patch, and his win rate consistently spikes in the late game. 52% is actually one of the lowest I've seen it for him, probably because the meta isn't too kind to him right now.
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or serious.
