Buffs I would love to see to my main
Tahm Kench
I admit I'm biased because I main Tahm Kench and I bet my ideas will get downvoted because he is a hated champion but screw it I'm gonna try anyway to see what people think so here I go
_When Tahm Kench was first released, he was a very versatile champion who can have many different play styles and play many different roles. However, over the years he has received many nerfs, suffered much more from adc kiting and support peeling that he can no longer act as a front line. Even worse, he can't act as an effective top laner due to enemy champions just sitting in minion waves to avoid his Q's which gives him a massive disadvantage in duels despite that is supposed to be one of his greatest strengths as a top laner. As a result, his potential has been reduced to where he only eats allies. These changes are to help him be able to play more aggressively and to function as a much stronger and threatening front line champion like Mundo, Darius, Garen, etc... _
Context: The first change to his passive is to make him require less time to get his stacks and be a threat to enemy squishes before he gets kited or CC peeled away from them without making him too strong in the early game.
Passive: After 20 minutes in the game, Tahm's basic attacks and Q will apply two acquired taste stacks instead of one.
_Context: The change here to his Q is to prevent enemy champions from just sitting in minion waves to avoid his Q while also not giving him the ability to just poke from a safe distance. If he wants to land his Q in duels, he has to get stacks on them first._
Q: If Tahm Kench has three acquired taste stacks on an enemy champion, his Q gains the ability to go through enemy minions.
_ Context: Back in patch 8.8, Tahm Kench's W lost the ability to give him a speed boost when chasing an enemy champion while having an ally in his belly. This nerf greatly damaged Tahm's ability to act as an aggressive support. This W buff is adding that ability back into the game just like it was before it was removed but there are some buffs he is getting to help with his other problems. Such as the issue with his W when eating a minion or monster. Tahm's W costs a lot of mana, which makes sense since it is a very powerful ability but it costs so much that there is no point of eating enemy minions or monsters to poke enemy champions and he has too much trouble clearing the jungle due to it's high mana cost and the fact he can't eat red or blue. These buffs will solve those problems but of course Tahm will not be able devour red or blue using his Q W combo since that would allow him to easily steal buffs and make him op._
W: 15 / 17.5 / 20 / 22.5 / 25% bonus movement speed with an ally in his belly when moving towards enemy champions. Mana cost when eating an enemy minion or monster is halved Tahm can now eat red and blue buff but he can't use his Q W combo to devour them from a distance.
_ Context: Back in patch 6.13, Tahm Kench got a mini rework that changed many of his abilities, an example being his max health damage passive being moved from his ult to his passive. The goal was to make him a less frustrating champion without making him too weak. It was mostly a success but it came at a sacrifice. It made him much stronger in the early game but harshly weakened him in the late game because his E was drastically changed. Here are the 6.13 changes to his E if you want to know. _
_Grey Health generation reduced to 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90% damage taken from 100 at all ranks Heal increased to 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45% Grey Health from 20 / 26 / 32 / 38 / 44 Active shield duration reduced to 3 seconds from 6 Cooldown reduced to 6 seconds at all ranks from 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 REMOVED: Shield decaying over time _ _ These changes gave him more sustain in the early game but removed his ability to act as a front line in team fights because his shield was weakened. Plus in patch 8.8 his grey health regeneration was reduced. Here are the changes to his E from patch 8.8. _
Health restored from grey health reduced to 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35% from 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45%.
Now that his E grey health regeneration has been nerfed, it makes sense to go back to how his E was the way before. This way, he has the ability to act as a front line again in team fights by allowing him to have a larger shield.
E: Grey Health generation increased to 100% damage taken at all ranks from 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90% damage taken.
