Red Kayn is Better Than Blue Kayn

Now I did just come out of a Ranked game with a blue kayn against the newly reworked Mord jungle and in the middle of the game I told that blue kayn is inferior to red kayn because of how the game progresses and that all mord has to do is bop him and thats just what happened. Blue kayn is really only good when they are absolutely no tank or bruisers. I mean if they have one that is off meta then sure you could win but also lets take into consideration that Blue kayn is more squishy than the enemy adc as the game progresses and usually you cannot get close to a good adc in a Ranked game as blue kayn because lets face it. You are too squishy. I say Red Kayn is better because of his presence with disrupting channels and champion movement better with his W knock up versus a shitty slow that blue kayn provides. I also enjoy seeing Red Kayn do his job better during team fights than blue kayn ever could from mid to late game. Red Kayn can cc and kill squishy champs better than blue kayn because of his healing potential and his overall tanky aspect. Red Kayn is more of a problem to deal with than blue kayn. He can use his ult for avoiding massive damage and then come out with a more than decent heal to keep trucking along with W and Q combos. In fact after the recent buffs to kayn's E both forms can use E at 8 second intervals. That means a tanky bruiser healer like red kayn can easily take out objectives and kill annoying enemies maybe not faster but definitely more secured than blue kayn. Blue Kayns big problem is being too squishy. If there are two enemies tanks/bruisers against blue kayn who can protect their squishy allies well, then say good bye to your assassin jungler because he is as good as a wet noodle after 30 minutes. On the other hand Red kayn purposefully fucks tanks and other bruisers and ults them for more HP. Sustained tanking and sustained Damage goes to Red kayn indefinitely. Blue kayn is a one trick casual champ which i have no problem with in normal games. Keep blue kayn out of ranked because once you choose the blue form the enemy knows just to extend to late game and smash you with better scaling in all areas of gameplay.

Funny, I feel the opposite (Red Kayn is inferior to Blue Kayn) but honestly, it depends a lot on who you face. If it is a lot of tanks/bruisers then Red Kayn is better, if there are a lot of squishies, then Blue Kayn. It also depends on playstyle and Runes. Red Kayn ALWAYS take Conqueror but Blue Kayn takes Electrocute/Dark Harvest (I tend to take Dark Harvest in ranked because they help you scale your damage and you can pick up a couple of stacks when trying to farm your form).

Another thing to consider is how you play when you use your forms, Red Kayn is more upfront and focuses on sustain and extended fights. Blue Kayn is more around finding ppl alone and use walls to traverse the map and pick up squishies.

TL;DR I have played a lot of Kayn recently (G1 - P4) and found very good success with Blue Kayn but then again, it just depends on who you face and which Runes/Playstyle you prefer.

The point I am making is that against a good team a blue kayn wont be able to anything after 30 minutes because by then the front line can still tank or deal enough damage to then help their adc in need or the adc builds ga and your whole burst strategy is completely ruined.

I personally feel that Rhaast = Shadow Assassin. Both forms have their owns strengths and weaknesses. Though it seems most of the time, Rhaast is the way to go.

It is considered in the higher elo the best way to go.
