I'm really hoping that this concept VU of Taric leads to his rework soon, and I'm also hoping that they'll stop beating the shit out of my poor Sona. Seriously, I can't play her as a niche AP mid anymore, let alone against two people bot lane.

I think they mostly hate sustain. Hence why Athenes was nerfed so people would take Morellos instead. It's been their plan all along to make sustain supports shit.

ugh, I hate playing adc against a Zilean support. I know he isn't op, but if your own support doesn't know what they're doing and can't heal, shield, or counter poke in response to him, you're just perma-zoned

True, he can be annoying and in my experience, (maybe I've just gone up against really bad Zileans), all they typically can do is be annoying and dive-bomb you. He's pretty vulnerable once he's done with his Q so, personally, hard engages or smart pokes are going to give him a hard time.

To be honest I found his potential for zoning annoying when I'd started out but then I started playing him myself. I think that helped me figure out his limits quite alot.

I was under the impression that they'd only be visually updating him (eventually) not messing with his kit, like Alistar is on the pbe right now

They made a mention of reworking him, Alistar and Zilean ages ago so maybe they've decided to keep Taric's to a VU?
