Currently HEcarim W is just plain insulting. 24s cooldown, starts of with 25% ends after knockback. Udyr players would initiate armageddon if HIS E wasn't even half.. let's rather say a quarter of how bad HEcarim's E is.
Hecarims passive has long been outdated since the removal of FoN and Shurelias, there is no reason to be scared to give him the mobility he actually deserves.

Completely different players (Keane is actually known for his mid hecarim pocket pick) Completely different teams. Brand new EU LCS team facing one of the best teams in the world and have already been 2-0'd (which can be pretty demoralizing) Only 1 week difference between videos (so no drastic changes between hecarim of then and now). Top lane hecarim opposed to mid lane hecarim. Hecarim in this game also did pretty well during the first half of the game, his team in general was just outclassed.
The video I posted? This isn't the first time the guy's done hecarim mid. He played against CLG during the last challenger series and went 5/1 for the first portion of the game.

P.S. the game you linked: First kill results from a Morgana and J4 gank, not because he did somethign special. The next 3 kills are a direct result of him lasthitting champions which Corki 100-0'd LOL. No offense, but he got carried by his team bigtime. He even hurt it by taking everything away from Corki.

Let's see, he didn't feed, he had an enormous amount of pressure with strong roams, he had really good initiates, and was able to do a lot of damage for only having a trinity force for damage, all while being extremely hard to kill. That first blood you mentioned? Hecarim was already out csing him before that happened.
So, no, he didn't get carried and it didn't hurt corki. Corki was already doing extremely well (and cop is someone known for always being able to perform well on an even amount of gold). Gold on the guy who is starting team fights is never a bad thing. Because you can do this thing called purchasing defensive items so you don't get blown up instantly.
