I don't get lower ELO's kill mentality

I'm not mad anymore. I just have to wait to next season to get to the spot I rightfully deserve.

The problem is in low elos, people are so greedy and misunderstand the importance of gold. They are so eager when behind to pull back ahead.

When you are behind, you main concern should not be to bounce back, it's to not be even more behind.

If you are 0/2 in your lane, DO NOT GO FOR KILLS. Don't take any risks, play safe, get gold and Don't die. Their lead will diminish over time and you will bounce back naturally. People get so fucking desperate for kills and they go like 2/7 every single game.

Going 0/0 is infinitely better than going 4/4 after you were 0/4 in lane and bouncing back with 4 kills.

Because in next season with the soft reset I'll have much less of these people every game.

Come play a game with me, you'll see what I'm talking about.

You can always climb, if you are improving as a player. If you belong in the division/tier above the one you're in now, everyone you're playing with will be much worse than you. Remember, you're the only constant between all of your games.

That said, I agree completely with the point in your original post. Just not your mentality about being in a lower ELO.

It's partly to do with the lower ELO mentality, and partly to do with my lanes (as a jungler) literally always get matched against someone better than them.

If I'm not playing the lane, it loses, plain and simple. There are some really bad games I've had, but in them I've just given up hope because usually I'm tilted as all hell (and take full responsibility for the loss) or have an unranked in our game or something.

What am I supposed to do here? Everyone fed, yet somehow I managed to maintain a normal ratio, and we still lose. I clearly show I can still do decent in a bad game, everyone else loses it for me

Or what about this one: http://imgur.com/a/RZoEY

Where everyone did fine in lane except bot fed their ass off and didn't plan on stopping any time soon

Or how about this one: http://imgur.com/a/EM97c

Where once again, everyone did fine, except bot fed their ass off AGAIN

I mean, this is what I would say to myself if those were my games (and I have said this to myself):

If I'm supposed to climb, that means I'm the best player on this team. If I'm the best player on this team, that means that I can't die. What would they do without me? If my entire team goes into a bad engage, I will do my best to disengage for them, but I won't sacrifice myself because of their bad call. Every kill I give up is another advantage the enemy has over me.

Just, overall, advice to myself would be: don't die. Just because I'm getting kills doesn't excuse going in on a fight I have no business going in on.

My two cents, anyway...

He's blaming his team while playing champions he has below sub-par skill level with while complaining that he can't carry.

It'd be like me bitching about my team while twirling around in circles as AP Garen and expecting magical bull shit to happen.

But with soft reset everyone rank drops and you play with people with the same ranks you do now just in a lower division. I guess the one nice thing is mmr is reset so if You can start the season off on a nice win streak ranking up goes much quicker. When we have a couple hundred games played it takes so long to build mmr up and increase LP gains that ranking up can definitely be a struggle.

You might like me haha as I am more of a passive player. Well I main jungle now so I guess I have become more aggressive but have always been a believer in playing safe once your behind. I do get confused when your team is behind but they play super aggressive and just end up getting more behind. It is annoying.

You don't understand. Sometimes when someone dies once or twice or never dies but give free farm against their lane opponents, they may die again even if they try to play safe. Some champions are snowbally enough ( given a 1 or 2 kill lead or a farm lead) to kill you under your turret and survive like Olaf, Fiora, every assassin, etc. I am absolutely certain that you're not clicking and holding your mouse at your ally's lane to always see how they die so it's not always your allies feeding because they don't pick the right fights. This is true for every rank.

If they are at the point that you die under turret, you leave the turret. Simple. Rotate and push another lane, gank them and help them out, or do rift on the other side of the map/dragon and take jungle creeps.

That only works assuming your allies are winning their lanes. Even if you give up your turret and move out of your lane, you're only giving your lame opponent more of a gold lead which can potentially make him a threat later.
