Can Someone Explain How Remake Fucking Works

What exactly are the conditions in which you're allowed to remake? Because it seems pretty selective.

Like

Just had a game where our jg never left fountain, never bought items, stayed there the whole game.

Didn't let us remake.

And I've had games where the exact same thing happens.

And we can remake.

So what, what EXACTLY are you allowed to remake from???

Why is it so damn selective??

Does loading into the game and just being afk the whole fucking game not let you remake but specifically dc'ing and not coming back does???

Why isn't it set so that if you're in spawn for a certain amount of time with NO ACTIVITY at the start of the game it triggers the remake? There is NO REASON you should be in spawn for 3 minutes doing nothing not even moving. At that point something is probably up and the game shouldn't be allowed to continue unfairly.

Someone please explain this to me because of course we lost that game and I was brought down to 0 lp when it would've been perfectly winnable if our jg was there, but for some reason we weren't allowed to remake.

Because when my jungle never buys items, never moves, sits in spawn whole game I can't help but be fucking confused as to why we aren't allowed to remake the 4v5, and the rest of my team was too. We all planned to remake and it never gave us the option. We were forced to play a 4v5 for 20 minutes until we could finally forfeit, and none of us knew why.

if you got a afk after the 3 min mark you will receive a message saying you can do a remake in the next 30 sec and this is at this moment you need to type in the chat ( /remake) and it will make a vote like the surrender where ppl can say yes and no . That it

Except our Lee WAS afk and never budged from fountain and we never got any remake notification, so I'm confused

Sometimes it bugs out, not giving you the option even though you HAVE an AFK player. It's happened to me a few times too, so you're not alone in this.

Here was an instance of it happening to me:

(Me) Jhin

(The AFK player) Syndra

The game starts, and Syndra doesn't budge as the rest of us buy our items and go to our respective lanes. The Lux who was originally going to be my Supp, lets the enemy team know via an /allchat that we have an AFK and will be remaking.

Well, the 3 Minute-mark rolls around, and much to our surprise, when we type in /remake we get a message saying we have ALL 5 players and cannot remake, yet Syndra hasn't moved an inch since we started. (We lost the game, if you're wondering)

So, it happens. It's rare, but it DOES happen.

The way remake works, is it allows you to remake if a player/players don't connect to the game. If Syndra connected, went, "f*ck it", and AFK'd, the system won't let you remake, since she still connected to the game.

Well then she was most certainly a jerk, because the game hadn't even started, so it wasn't a foregone conclusion that we would lose.

Yea but my lee never connected.

He stayed in spawn, never reconnected, never bought anything, and we never got the option to remake

Did it say a player has disconnected? Or, when you were loading in, did he never load in? Because if he didn't he did connect, and you wouldn't be able to remake.

It didn't say he disconnected or reconnected or anything, he just never left spawn

well the think is you need to be at least 5 min afk into the game not moving a inch to be known as afk and the minute mark only work for ppl not having connecting not afk since the minute mark is 3 min after the game started . Sad but the system aint crazy atm .

Is there any way @riot could...make it so that just not being active at all in spawn for 3+ minutes triggers a remake?

Like if someone connects, does nothing, and then dc's, theres no fucking reason you shouldn't be allowed to remake

Need an AFK, 3 minutes to pass, and for your team to have 0 kills.

I had an game where we could /remake when I got first blood due to an invade.

If the vote was going before that then it will go off, but it locks after your team gets a kill.

This is one of the more recent one, its not on my side. But its clearly that the other team got a kill near the minute mark. And they were allowed to still /Remake.
