You Never Ganked!

Says the lane that doesn't ward or ping MIA's, or informs me if the enemy dropped a ward in the brush from which I planned on ganking until I was collapsed upon by no less than 3 enemies, the jungle and two missing.

I suppose trusting my allies to supply me with useful information to help secure victory makes me an awful player.

End of rant.

Is this about your top laners? Mostly happens to me when my top is doing bad.

It's about any lane in general.

The lanes that get ganked by the enemy 3+ times by the ten minute mark because they push past river without vision and then it's ally jungle fault for not helping.

The lanes that suffer under roaming enemies because the others won't ping MIA and then it's the ally jungle fault for not being there to counter gank.

The lanes that don't leash or abandon you for farm when your jungle is being invaded and then it's the jungle's fault because they fell behind.

Had a bot lane that gave the enemy bot lane TWO double kills by the time I hit lvl 4. They start yelling at me for not helping them out. Then after I priceed to tell them I'm not ganking a 4-0 bot lane without ATLEAST mids help they started to threaten that if I didnt gank asap they would start to troll. Well I told them they better start trolling. My top lane decides to try to help and tp's down. Their adc get a triple kill. Now top lane is also yelling and blaming me.

Braindead laners. Bunch of cry babies

There's a lot going on with regards to whether or not a gank is necessary.

It's not the jungler's job to win a player his or her lane. It's not the jungler's job to make up the difference either if the laner is simply outskilled or outmatched.

That said, there are things about "you never ganked" which are legitimate complaints.

If the enemy jungler is camping a lane, you as the jungler need to make a decision: Do you counter gank or do you try to snowball another lane? If a player is getting camped, then the vast majority of the time they WILL lose their lane. This is because the priority has changed from either killing the enemy laner or out farming him to simply not dying. If a laner is getting camped (specifically top or bottom) hard enough, then they may be forced to abandon tower and farming entirely because diving is EXTREMELY easy even when the top and jungle are level 3.

For instance, let's say I'm top as Maokai and I'm against a Riven. If I'm getting camped, that's ok because I know I will still be useful with little CS and that Riven won't scale too hard. If we have a hyper carry as our ADC or a good mid, then go ahead and camp for them (and secure dragon if possible). That's a great trade even though I'm getting stomped in lane (I promise I won't die more than 2-3 times).

Also, player skill factors in as much as who the champions are when it comes to snowballing and carrying. Do you try to snowball a Silver Vayne ADC? Maybe because Vayne scales really well with a lead. But does that Silver have the skill to carry against Diamonds/Plats? Maybe or maybe not. There's no clear answer here.

However, let's say that I'm Maokai top and the enemy laner is a Nasus. Now, is it ok if I get camped and you never come top? How do you feel about a free farm Nasus? That's going to be a tough one. But maybe if we have a Vayne, Kog, or Tristana bot lane then it's a good trade.

My main complaint here is when the jungler doesn't decide to do any of those things (countergank or snowball another lane). In this situation, farming your jungle is NOT an option. You need to be controlling objectives and trying to snowball a lane whether it be mine or someone else's.

If the enemy jungler isn't camping but for some reason I'm losing bot to a Vayne or top to a Nasus, you really should think about ganking. This is because these champions are very good at winning games when they have a lead so our best chance at winning comes from you as the jungler intervening.

Again, you don't have to gank for anyone. But the jungler always has to make important decisions about the game. Whether to gank or not is one of those decisions. Just realize if the enemy is doing something, you need to try to offset it by capitalizing elsewhere on the map.

Well, why didn't you gank? He obviously needed help.
