Procs on objectives

Can I point this out? Rengar 's Q can't be used on towers because it would be crazy to allow that three times in a row.

However, the infinitely stacking attack of someone who can build full tank and still deal 1000 damage an attack to towers doesn't just work on towers, it works on the Nexus and inhibitors too.

Nasus

Just Maybe that shouldn't be allowed on inhibitors and the nexus.

It's fine on towers, but the inhibitors can't defend themselves at all, and without the increasing damage of a turret, it's lmost impossible to stop Nasus from getting one even with two people.

Aside from that, his presence even in a 4v3/2 against a non-damaging structure generally means that structure is going to die.

Nasus' ability to obliterate structures with his Q is the only thing keeping him even kind of viable right now IMHO.

the big difference between nasus and rengar is that nasus has no escapes, so if he goes for the splitpush and you notice it, you can take him down with multiple people. If rengar goes splitpush, he just has to press R to get away fom any danger. Also imagine the backdoor bullshit of a rengar, useing his ult to sneak past wards and nearly one-shoting the inhip tower if his Q was allowed vs towers.

A 99% slow doesn't help escape?

Being a tank doesn't help him get away?

One pink ward prevents Rengar's escape, and your team can have five.

Nasus would have to be really far behind in his build at the same time your carries have every penetration item in order for him to be countered the same amount.

otherwise he can just sit there and take your hits, since even if he dies you're still losing the tower.

A singletarget(limited range) 35-99% slow onlyhelps to escape from 1 guy, cause it's, well, singletarget. Beeing tanky is rather meaningless in a 1v3+ situation, unless your far ahead, and back than Rengars Q worked vs Towers, he was built mostly tank aswell for splitpush. Pinkwards have limited sightrange, cost gold, and can be seen by him. Unless you are close to him the moment he uses his ult(in whicch case it's a missplay by rengar), pinkwards are rather gambling. you also need an itemslot for them, so lategame it's more likely 2-3 pinls on the team rather than 5. aditionally, he still has the ms boost and a leep to junglemonsters, like over the wall to golems with that ult.

and countering splitpush should happen befor they reach your tower, atleast id you know he can kill it really fast, else your reaction is to slow anyway, so your last argument is kinda invalid.

You pointed out that tank build helps splitpush, so I don't understand why you pretended not to understand that part.

Trinkets can be upgraded by everyone and don't take up a slot.

My argument was NEVER that he can splitpush. It's that even if you're defending under tower, that tower will die unless you can focus a lot of CC on Nasus while his allies are also being productive.

Every time I try to talk about balance, the people against my argument act as if the game is 1v5 and not 5v5. He has allies. They will always also be doing something that you need to prevent.

in professional play, yes, in soloQ, not so much. Either the 5 tr to apply pressure, but fail to ward their flanks or what ever and get destroyed 4v5, or they apply no pressure and the enemies can easily afford to send multiple members to stop the splitpush. Splitpush in soloQ only works if you are ahead and in controll of the game, and given nasus rather poor early, it's not likely that he gets ahead and controlls the game. Rengar however has a strong lane with good lvl 6 playmakeing potential, he can more easily get an early lead and snowball it. Rengar is overall a superior splitpusher, only his dmage vs towers is lacking, and thank riot for that, else he would be the obnoxious bane of soloQ, as he could splitpush without relying on his team to play properly.

and as soaz showed on vlad in worlds, if your team does everything right, all that matters is that you have the stronger 1v1 to splitpush.

You forgot the part where nasus casually q stacks the enemy champions while he pushes
