its ridiculous that people can interrupt a DRAGON JUMPING AT/AWAY FROM YOU, but can't interrupt a 140 pound girl with metal hands running at you

I can get behind that. Considering Shyvana has no CC ability, other than the slight nudge that her ult-dash can provide, this ability could stand a bit more power.

If you consider that the ultimate isn't just the initial leap but is also the improved abilities you can see that adding more power isn't necessary.

Ryze's ult gives him improved abilities AND spellvamp, are you saying the spellvamp isn't necessary? And before you say something like, "Oh, well you're talking about two different characters with two different play styles" let me stop you. Shyvana's ult doubles her bonus armor and magic resist, as well as make all of her abilities more AOE. Ryze's ult makes all of his abilities AOE, have shorter cooldowns, AND HEAL HIM. Both basically buff stats and abilities, yet one person has a snare for CC, while the other person has practically nothing for CC. Ryze has a snare that roots people for 1.75 seconds at max rank, with a 14 second cooldown not including the 30% CDR from his ulti. Are you saying, that asking for Shyvana, who has one CC ability, that is not affected by any sort of CDR, to not have a greater CC effect on said ability, is UNNECESSARY?

shyvana is NOT that strong. she's a decent duelist, but gets outdueled by other duelists hard, and has one gapcloser in her ultimate that can be INTERRUPTED, and recharges based on auto attacks, not cdr.

shyvana gets kited to death because of her lack of cc. i just find it absolutely ridiculous that a fat man running at you (sion) or a tiny girl running at you (vi) are un-interruptable in their ults, while shyvana who transforms into a dragon and leaps at you can be stopped by any and every displacement/cc mid jump. it cuts her engage power(which is the only thing that keeps her relevant in this meta), and demolishes her escape potential.

She has one of the highest stick potentials of any bruiser in the game. She also is one of the most innately tanky bruisers with the lowest CDs and no costs. Her ult is also extended and refreshes on AAs. She also gets 3 upgraded abilities while its up and becomes harder to kill without the need to build tank.

She also does hybrid damage by building AD. She is very strong it's just when you think of her ult as only the dash like many have said. OFC it will seem stupid weak. But when she follows it up with massive damage and there is almost no way to peel her off once she gets on you, it is warranted to have the jump be weak. Vi's only hits you for 300 damage and CCs you in place. That is 1-2s utility while Shyvana's can last up to 15s and is up much faster as well as can put out more than 3x more damage because of it just to a single target.

No, Challenging Smite on toplane Shyvana is good. Shyvana in and of herself is not that good right now as she is highly item dependent.

Imo Riot either: a) forgotten to make her CC immune b) were too scared to give her CC immunity c) they have tried to give it to her, but some random bug happen and they didn't want to delete her relase. And now they don't care.
