Thematically unsatisfying champions

Let's take a look at some champs. First, some that actually have good kit to fit their theme.

Ekko Based around turning back time. Ult turns back time. Checks out.

Hecarim War horse. Gets damage from speed, as if he were charging. Has 2 abilities which allow him to "charge" into battle. Checks out.

Yasuo Lone ronin who spends his life fighting and fleeing, in search of his master's true killer. Has lots of mobility and is literally rewarded for walking (flow). Checks out.

Vladimir Hemomancer (blood mage). All abilities have to do with blood and HP. Checks out.

Khazix Evolving predator who gains power as he kills. Gets evolutions as he levels up. Checks out.

Those are just a few examples of thematically satisfying champions. Now let's look at the other side of the spectrum.

Thresh Badass chain guy. In the past life was the warden of a prison, notorious for torturing inmates with chains. He was to be feared by all. Is a support who's most noticeable feature is saving an ally with his lantern. Practically the opposite of his theme.

Nidalee Fearsome predator who can transform into a cougar to stalk her prey. Plays like a weenie all game chunking with spears then running away in cougar form. At least her rework kinda fixed that. Kinda...

Aatrox God of war known to be able to inspire men and give them the strength of 10 men. Known to turn the tides of war and shaped history itself with his influence. Has almost no impact on a fight. Doesn't buff allies at all. Is a mediocre fighter.

LeeSin Blind monk. Player still has vision when playing him. 0/10, good job Rito. (Jokes)

Shen Ninja. Literally a ninja. HIS LORE LITERALLY SAYS HE IS A NINJA. Builds full tank, does almost no damage. Has no real reason to build damage. Scales off hp. Ninja

Bard Protector of the cosmos. Dicks around all game and screws you with ult. Alright, this one is fine, because technically he does make sense thematically, but it depends if the person playing him knows what they're doing and isn't a dick.

Thresh is still a pretty bad-ass chain guy. CertainlyT said he wanted Thresh to be able to do everything, from jungle to top to adc (ha) but obviously, he was ridic OP.

His kit knocks around a poor soul that gets in his hook (tormentor as a chain warden in life). I'd say he checks out.

Quinn is a thematically unsatisfying champion. Apparently we're supposed to work "together" with Valor - but instead, she chucks birds in your face, hides and lets her bird do the dirty fighting and her scouty thingy - what kind of shitty bird vision is that?

You feel like you're only playing one crazy-ass bird woman, not as Quinn & Valor (which is what we're told we'd be playing)

I was thinking more of Homeless Quinn, where Valor is a street pigeon and she screams "SQUALOR, TO ME!" (or "squalor is me" because she's all filthy and crazy)
