Breaking down the direct and indirect yasuo nerfs.

Yasuo Attack speed per level lowered to 2.5 from 3.2

this is good. It means he scales less hard late game and needs more AS items to get him attacking crazy fast.

Base attack speed also increased to [0.67] from [0.658].

this is literally a .012 change. Because of this inconsequential buff he will now have an extra auto attack once every 100 seconds and a small buff to his early level Qs. It's but tiny compensation for the scaling nerf.

Last Breath (R) - secondary effect of increased bonus armor pen now only applies to Yasuo's critical strikes rather than all attacks.

this is huge. It means he will now NEED to build crit for his ult to be effective. This 56.7% winrate shit is gone. (item 3078 item 3111 item 3022 item 3026 item 3068 item 3053 56.7% winrate)

Recipe changed to [Jaurim's Fist + Long Sword + Giant's Belt + 550g] Health increased to 700 from 650 Attack damage lowered to 30 from 40

this is also pretty big. It makes it less worth it on yasuo in general and it nerfs his less tankier but still OP build. (item 3046 item 3111 item 3022 item 3031 item 3072 item 3026 54% winrate)

Combine that with his ult bug being fixed and boom, his winrate should drop substantially. Let us all rejoice.

TBH the one thing i really want them to fix is the bug where he gets an extra auto at the beginning of the ultimate. When they fixed the bug for yasuo where his cirt auto after an ultimate had a delay. This new one popped up and its super annoying. Its fixed and it should be much better.

They are fixing it in this patch. I have no clue why they didn't release a mid patch fix but riot is stubborn and weird sometime. it's probably all the alcohol they drink

How else can they face the fanbase?

Base attack speed also increased to [0.67] from [0.658].

This also increases the effectiveness of attack speed items on him, meaning his Q gets more CDR earlier, remember we're talking about percentages here.

it is not broken by any means but gotta recognize things as they are

them removing the attack delay buff is probably the best decision as well

It does, but it is still a very small buff. I knew i could not dodge talking about it so i threw it in anyway. Ill make an edit.

(i didn't understand the attack delay thing xD. If you could explain it i'd enjoy that).

it's fairly easy, the value represents the time it takes the autoattack animation to complete, the lower the value the faster the animation is, for example, Cait's Attack delay is 0.1 the highest amongst every other champion while Kalista's is -0.1 (negative value) being the lowest, this value is shared by Olaf, Shaco, Akali and Maokai too.

In Yasuo's case they were lowering it from -0.05 to -0.672 I think which is equal to Hecarim's.

An attack delay reduction means that Attack speed is more effective on a champion since he will complete autoattacks even faster.

Thank you for the explanation.
