That bronze guy is silver ELO guy who got dropped to bronze during reset as everyone drops 1 league under. He is actually high silver guy. He has MMR of high silver which is same as low gold like u are. So its pretty normal.

He is a bronze 5 who got boosted to silver 5 right near the end of the season (if you actually look at his lolking graph it shows him as 850 MMR for most of the season). He was NEVER high silver. His highest achieved rank is silver 5, and he got there either by duo queue or ELO boost (just like he is right now).

Lolking doesnt show correct MMR. That guy is silver atm. And in that game he had highest kill participation. What gives u right to accuse someone of elo boost? Usually people who got one themselves do it. If u look at his stats that guy would probably be even plat if he played more. He has like 30 games only played. And if u look at his current match history, he carries almost all games.

Mate before rage fills your mind read what someone writes before commenting. I said he carry most of his games in his match history. I didnt say he carried that game with you, just that he had highest kill participation.I am aware that u carried THAT game 8:0:8. Also not saying anything, but in last 7 games, that game was only one you won. So you should hope for more players like that morgana to be in your team.

Lolking isnt the most accurate thing. Two, you can play smart, but LoL mostly carea about W/L. Three, spam OPs or always viable champs, done.

My response to this is Solo Q was never on the table to begin with. I suspect they only decided to make a solo Q after the huge blowback they got when they initially announced dynamic Q's. Then through the continuing weeks of blowback did they finally release a post saying they were making solo Q.

If Riot was going to make a soloQ to begin with, it would of been released long ago. The months delay for soloQ release is all the evidence we need to know it was never in the pipeline until dynamic Q failed.

The gap between Bronze I and Silver V and between Silver V and Silver III is minimal.

Also, you are Gold III while their Gold is a Gold V, this gap is a lot bigger than the gap between low silvers and Bronze I

In terms of MMR which is what the matchmaking system is based of, the teams are pretty equal.

I was on the SAME SCREEN as him, and he ran away from me (and died) because he "didn't see me"

If you look closer into the data, his highest rank achieved last season was silver 5, and he probably barely made that too.... Meanwhile the entire enemy team got gold last season.

And sorry but... The gap between bronze 1 and silver 3 is huge. Especially when he's relying on his premade to boost him there. If he were to play solo his MMR over hundreds of games would probably cycle between bronze 3 and bronze 1.

But sadly, the game system does not account for performance over past seasons, MMR is reseted each season.

We're not that early in the season anymore so I agree that this probably shouldn't be happening.

The only reason I see this happening today is like you mentioned because of group queues in ranked. The system has to be matching using some number close to the group member with the highest MMR. So if someone in S 1 is queueing with a B 1, suddenly you can be matched with or against a bronze player.

We all want a true solo Q. Riot listened to player feedback after the terrible dynamic queue system and we are supposed to be getting it in what 2 months? Some of their info makes it sound like SoloQ was always coming. It clearly wasn't or we would of had it a LONG time ago. No after the huge backlash they started making it, hence the 3ish month delay. I just hope when it does come out. It is actually a real solo Q and not something terrible as Riot tries to keep 4's alive in dynamic queue. (meaning if you have soloQ and dynamic Q. How are you supposed to fill a 4man premade if there are no more solo Q players?)

I am also Gold and I am far from being a rank elitist. In fact, I have been playing this game since 2012 and only played ranked the last season, I don't even know what my actual rank is, I only got until Gold V to get the skin (and was disappointed because the final product was extremely subpar in comparison to the preview, in my opinion).

Call me unintelligent all you want, that does not change the fact that these teams are equal in terms of MMR.

We won because I carried them (along with Garen).

I had to put up with the bronze Morgana's shitty bronze plays while I was carrying him... Such as running away from me when I was coming in to save him because "he didn't see me" even though I was basically on the same screen as him..... Dat bronze map awareness. So instead of me killing Fizz and saving him, I killed Fizz and he died.

If you also notice, I had zero deaths that game. So I carried pretty hard.

The Morg has a 16 wins/4 losses in ranked. You have 103 wins / 110 losses.

Well we know what a huge clusterFk it is at the start of the new season when our divisions are wiped. People used to say it takes like 100 games for your division to eventually match your hidden MMR. I suspect that number is probably a little low now, but still the idea remains the same. You need to play alot of games to get to where you are supposed to be.

Of course this was before dynamic queue when you now have a 16% chance of playing against a premade and so forth. If you group queue statistically you have an advantage in 16% of your games. (Riots dynamic queue dev post if you want to read their matchmaking data)

So if Morg has been queuing with a group then it makes sense why she has so many more wins than losses. Course she could be very lucky, but the group queue should of accounted for some of those additional wins.

They are even outnumbering in stronger meta picks. All you had to do was stomp early game.
