He (? ... not sure who they are yet) seems like a mage/marksman with support capabilities, but that's just pure conjecture.

I really hope he's not a marksman at all. We don't have any mage gun users, everyone is just a boring marksman - which means that by necessity most of their damage is in their autos so the overall power of their abilities are drastically reduced.

Someone in another thread also mentioned that it could be a camera instead of a gun. Like the old time ones that used something like gunpowder. This fits with what we know about him so far in wanting to capture perfection.

Edit: But I rewatched it and it's definitely a gun lol

There's a champion concept for Deadeye. Google it. This person made a Sniper. The Sniper has a SET attack speed, attack speed bonuses apply to his passive "%%%%% in the armor": where he gets higher crit chance in lieu of attack speed, or something to that effect. apparantly hes pretty much a nutjob, so the blood splatters become beautiful in his mind. really fucking lame if you ask me. i hoped after all these teasers there would be more to the champ than just another marksman.

Sounds like Vladimir a bit. But, I think it's going to be a mage/marksman. An AP mid or bot lane who uses guns. And I don't see what's so lame about a completely unhinged champion, so long as there's sufficient backstory and more to him than just stereotypical Jason Voorhees slasher bs.

not sure, right now there is no evidence about him being an ap marksman.

all we know right now is that hes insane and considers people as beautiful/perfect in their moment of death or some romantic bullcrap. i swear, if they actually killed 4 champions in their lore to make the guy seem edgy, im not just gonna be disappointed but pissed.

i was kinda hoping for the mage/support theory of a djinn character who can posess other champions to come true.

imagine a mage or support who removes himself from the playing field for a limited time with his ult to take control of another champion. would fall into the category of crazy that riots champion releases recently showed.

im already disappointed that its just another pistol wielding marksman.

dont get me wrong. the style of the teaser video was awesome, but that doesnt mean that the champion is actually gonna be or play very unique. it remains to be seen.

What's lore? I think I heard of it when I started, back in season 2... but then they decided to make Sivir into some Shuriman heiress and retconned Cassiopeia's serpent curse for no reason.

they made new lore to replace the old one. with the events like the black mist and bilgewater, and shurima events theyre still fleshing out the champions and tied those together that were not having any direct connections before.

the only thing thats really gone is the institute and summoners. the champions and the world theyre living in - so the things we actually care about - can still have development to them.

I'd guess that it's an AP champion as we haven't gotten an AP champion since Ekko. Tahm doesn't count cause he's a supp/tank, not a mage or a marksman or whatever.

Plus, no actual mage since Azir. I'm quite confident it's a mage/marksman.

Leaves/branch/whatever = snare Smoke coming out of mouth = silence Burning = either plain ol' damage or slow Light-like things coming out from eyes = blind

That's a good deal of utility right there. But the gun... finally a real ranged Udyr?

I hope so. I really wanted Varus to be the true AP Marksman (those Blight stacks) but Riot killed that dream. Perhaps this Jhin character will create life from my dead dream...heh

I always thought of Varus being a Sniper but riot killed that dream when every adc item has low ad and nothing but crit so now he has nothing to help his Q scale without going to the assassins and pure ad items meaning he wont have a lot of attack speed.Not only that his auto attack range is mediocre at best.Lets also mention how worthless his passive is being useful in such niche situations.

The fact that he's a marksman means he'll largely do nothing but right-click on people -- which means he'll be boring as all hell, like Kindred. Complex champs are a lot more fun. D:

Maybe he'll be like Luci, and weave spells into his attacks? That'd be nice.
